Fuck viewership no one cares about that
This tournament is the best one yet in terms of gameplay
Plus all the regions are doing really great

i think it's the same as last masters, but they won't set viewership record without sentinels playing or zeta reaching finals
It's not that bad, like 300-400k views per match. Lowest is 310k something iirc
There is no a dominant team only because fpx are not here lmao, if they were able than our region power ranking was absolutely the same
So many cool different playstyles it’s amazing to watch
Imagine how hype Masters 2 or champions will be if the old teams make a comeback along with these new ones, so many storylines
people forgetting EMEA got shafted this tourney
a lot of the minor regions stepped up but it just seems a lot more competitive because FPX and full fnatic roster wasnt here
100% agree but even with the level of play being a bit worse im loving the competitiviness
I think all of this was only possible because Astra was nerfed. Now she is not a MUST PICK but just a thing some teams like to use.
good take. Astra was slowing down the game in a way that watching it was ZzZzZ
yeah I agree I have seen a lot of good plays, and as you said all regions have been putting out really cool plays
Viewership for Valorant won't be as high as its peaks because of SEN being absent from this event. As sad as it is, sentinels drive viewership in this game like crazy. At champs, even after getting grouped they still had 2/4 of the 4 highest viewed matches at the event... in the GROUP stage. Similarly, sentinels held 3/5 of the top viewed matches at Masters Berlin, with their 2 matches in the GROUP stage against G2 being the 2 highest viewed in the entire tournament... even over the final. Last, 2021 Masters Reykjavik SEN had 3/5 of the top viewed matches with their final against Fnatic breaking 1M in viewership for the first time in Valorant. These guys run this game...

We're much better off without the blind fanboys who only watch tournaments for Sentinels
Agreed. Every region has firepower and we are at the stage of the game where 99% of the agents are viable which translates to so much more variety in team comps. Unfortunately the production hasn't been super smooth so far
i really like that KR/APAC are becoming very competitive with EU, makes the game so much more interesting
i think KR always was, their games were always either close 2-1 losses or flat 2-0 wins vs EMEA/NA (from VS) and Nuturn had that insane IceLAN run too
It feels like most minor regions have improved to the point where their best teams can compete with the teams from NA and EU, especialy DRX they look really good. I cant wait to see more from them , LOUD and PRX
Twitch viewership alone is 330k on average with peak of 541k. YT has streams as well which add atleast 50k-80k (too difficult to count) so you can say that average viewership is around 400k or so which is not bad considering many popular teams are not here.
PS - if there is any correction please mention ty
Gameplay: 9/10
Production: 4/10
Hype: 6/10
The teams haven't failed to impress but Riot needs to step it up otherwise. Stage, studio, coaches, PCs, and tech issues are so glaring at this event.
I love the international competition but it just sucks that Riot doesn't try to put 20% more into the event.
Yeah that coach thing is really dumb from riot
I can't think of a single reason for not letting coaches be present during a match
And yeah production does need work. It's an international LAN tournament and we still have players lagging out
