Leo was amazing at his peak and I remember that EMEA Grand Final where he went berserk on Breeze whilst ill. Being away from the scene for such a long period of time has casted insane levels of doubt in his skill to keep up with the current state of Valorant (just look at Demon1 - he can't play his way against the best teams). Couple that gap with people realising Leo is just another guy with some controversial opinions and of course people are gonna weigh down his past with any old reason (Oh, it was 2023. Oh, he was a baiter).
It's definitely a shame that his illness prevented him from playing, but it's looking like the bigger shame is him slipping into these Tate-esque commentaries. I know it's harsh to say, but I don't think he ever wanted to come back to pro play or even be a content creator.
