We don't do mechanics here s0n

its physics but the teacher would only focus on mechanics

Read books, do questions.
Works very well for mechanical courses.

lowk fraudulent. like he's good if you want to solve hw problems but he doesn't teach intuition or the why behind concepts if you know what i mean. but maybe he does do that and i watched his bad ones

What are the topics you are currently studying in mechanics?

its mostly kinematics, newton laws, friction, energy and collisions

Cengage for Mechanics (1 and 2) are good books and should suffice you. The books have good theory and high quality questions. You can find the PDFs online

Yeah as the previous commentor said, Cengage should be good enough, I also studied them, The way to use it is by solving all the illustrations that come your way while reading it.

any authors in specific?

i suppose Cengage has only one author for physics... BM sharma.

There's the MIT website that has a bunch of free lectures and videos on a lot of different subjects
https://ocw.mit.edu/search/?f=Lecture%20Videos&f=Lecture%20Audio&s=department_course_numbers.sort_coursenum

Also, there's a site called khan academy if you haven't heard or tried it yet that usually had videos teaching subjects and also practice problems.

what you need is questions to practice for different applications, altough it also depends on what your difficulty level is, i would recommend you to look up cengage as someone ealier said, it is really vast and complicated in certain topics. if the difficulty level is as much as cengage then stick with it, if lower then look up NCERT high school physics book for grade 11 part 1.
the book is pretty ass but has some good questions.
MY RECCOMENDATION would be SL ARORA CLASS 11 PART 1. that is a very good book in all aspects and you can get a pdf
you can look up for the tutors everyone are suggesting, but trust me they are pretty ass. they just go through the topics one by one and you get no real value from them. specially khan academy.
Also classical mechanics can be pretty hard for some students, so dont get demotivated if you can't solve questions

yeah for me physics were pretty hard on high school, my teachers werent good either

that sucks man, physics really needs a good tutor. well i think your university level should be on the par of SL ARORA, i would highly recommend it, its beginner friendly and will expose you to all topics. altough im not sure about the difficulty level in brazillian college. chatgpt shows that you should be fine with SL arora

i study at a federal university (public university system), so its a little bit more difficult, not extreme, but sometimes it is a little tricky

hi if your course is calculus based then i recommend Dr Ramamurti Shankar from yalecourses on youtube, his full lectures are uploaded there!

i dont think he would need calculas for mechanics, not at bachelors level though

I think elementary calculus is needed, especially during derivations
