if he was like 10% better i think he would have been a faker candidate in this game he has mechs, macro, and teamplay. early i feel like he didn't play for the team as much but now i feel like he has a really good read on the game (probably due to fnatic honestly) although his mechs are worse relative to competition now

To be fair the game only has been put for a third of time that league has, but I can’t see anyone outside of PRX playing forever.
Even if league came out around the same time as valorant, no one would still come close

Ngl val is harder to dominate than league. Val has too many variables and has lower skill ceiling. Val will never have players like chovy or faker or donk or zywoo. The gap between teams and players isn't big at all which is also one of the reason it has insane parity and competition compared to other esports.
i mean i don't disagree that meta shifts and variables is what makes valorant more unpredictable, but there hasn't been a player who has a consistent enough resume at internationals that compares to faker.
i remember faker fucking terrorizing my team RNG at internationals for 3 years straight back in 2016, and brother still beating on chinese teams 10 years later. no valorant pro will ever have that peak or consistency
That's the thing I am trying to say. I don't think it's possible for this esports to have players like faker or simple or zywoo or donk who are league above other players when at their peak simply cause the Esports just doesn't have high skill ceiling. We will for sure get consistent players tho but they will not be the very best for multiple years in this esports.
