LoL and Dota are both massive esports the fact that deadlock is a moba isn’t to its detriment. Shooter viewpoint definitely does make it less watchable compared to those games but it’s still far from “unwatchable”. Overwatch, Rivals, Fortnite, Apex etc are less watchable than Deadlock.

no the real issue is lack of team stability
in CS, league, etc you can stop watching for a year and come back still recognizing most teams and the associated players
you can't do that with valorant, the team stability is non existent and you can't keep a roster around for anywhere long enough to build a real fanbase

This right here, VCT was what I watched the most last year but I don't think I have watched a single match this year, except from Envy vs MIBR and Sen vs 100T, They two teams I used to watch are 80% different, I watched ENVY and Sen, only one player is the same on each of this teams when I started rooting for them.
