Will a team ever pick up haeyoday? I remember people calling him a fraud but at this point it’s pretty undeniable that he’s a good player. But I’ve heard he has massive ego issues.

he isn't even playing in T2, he did pretty good in qualifiers at the beggining of the season but I don't even think he wants to become a serious pro player

ENVY is mainly cooked due to the meta change and them lacking their prodigy duelist and smoke player. Even worse, their prodigy is literally banned for a whole year because he cannot control himself. I would be seriously interested to see if Cane would have performed anywhere close to his Tier 2 capacity.

Being okay in Funhavers and Ranked does not nearly qualify you to be in T2, let alone T1. My guess (I have not seen him in trials so this is purely speculation and second hand info) is he thinks himself to be above half the players who actually have a better average level across the skillsets required to be a T2+ competitor, and thus not improving on it enough to be taken serious in the trials he gets. It's a fairly common issue with players who gain notoriety through ranked to assume they are on top of the world already, while the real climb has not even really started.
TLDR: "Dropping 50s in ranked" is not nearly enough to be a serious competitor.

It's not really about that, it's that when he's good he's good, but he won't play any better than where he is now since he doesn't take things seriously. He's a clipfarmer, essentially.
Why play tier 3 at all if you just want to clip farm. I think it’s pretty strange to assume he has no drive to compete or improve. Especially to assume he can’t possibly be better.
Honestly I have no idea why he plays any organized valorant since all he does is swing your shit with no regard for the team anyways. He might have drive to compete but I doubt he'll improve nearly as fast as any good tier two talent.

if he's not getting any opportunities in tier two there's a reason why. Huge ego, not willing to learn, cheating accusations, it's just bad for players and for rep of the org for a player that isn't even going to learn to be better.
Which is fair. And valid reasons. Though again “not willing to learn” is a bold claim. I simply don’t understand the points of “he’s simply not good enough” which is why I addressed this.
he is good enough to play tier two, that's not really the point. The point is, he's already good enough to play in tier two, but he won't perform in organized play nearly as well since he's very individualistic, he has ego problems which creates divide in teams, and he has accusations. Orgs don't want to risk their reputation being their player and their fan by picking up such a risky player, just for a guy that might be decent in tier two, likely at the expense of the rest of his team's mental. The Ego problems won't allow him to learn as quick as other, already developed talent. It's just not worth it.

Yeah I didn’t realize he was as problematic online as he was lol. I thought he just had an ego and maybe micromanaged people often kinda like inspire. Didn’t realize it was that deep. Some players genuinely hate this guy.
Another thing that isn’t brought up often about haeyoday is simply that he doesn’t actually have mastery over any agents but Reyna and Clove. I watched his entire challengers open qual run this year and it’s blatantly obvious, he’s like a Cryo on those agents but far worse. He purely gets by with his aim. Even on raze, he literally doesn’t know how to double satchel and also refuses to play other agents in ranked. I don’t know if that contributes to why no one picks him up but it’s a possibility.
100% contributes to him not getting picked up, once prime Waylay got nerfed I don't think he has another meta agent down.

bad reputation, doesn't have playtime in tier 2, probably doesn't even trial for teams. doesn't matter how good your aim and mechanics are if you don't make an attempt to make yourself marketable.

he always loses the qualifiers to tier 2 i think so hes not that all that. just ranked demon
he cant play any good agents. he has an ego. he hasnt proven himself against good teams and just farms t3. he doesnt even want to go pro either. so i would guess hes not making a team
