Gimme your biggest phobias

Personally I'm terrified of heights, spiders and lightning, all three fears I developed by visiting Australia

The first time I went I woke up with a hunstman on my chest and have been terrified of spiders ever since, so much so that even photos of them make my skin crawl

The second fear I developed when I climbed the Sydney harbour bridge the second time I went to Australia and had to climb a tall fuckin ladder after having to detach myself from the harness

The third fear of lightning I developed the third time I went to Australia. I was sat next to a glass door and a lightning strike hit literally like right outside the door, which must've been like 10 feet away from me at most. Now I won't go outside if there's a thunder storm happening

I am scared off going on most roller coaster rides ever since when I was younger I went on that made me dizzy for hours after it ended. I really dislike going on them. I remembered the last time I did, I felt like I was going to be sick or faint.

I think I can go on them now but it's something I'd never willingly do.

Yk what I was thinking about this the other day but the thought of losing consciousness and just never being able to even think again is utterly mortifying

I was thinking about it specifically imagining being in the blast radius of a nuclear bomb

Imagine you just see a bright flash and then all of a sudden your brain is just permanently off

That might just be the most terrifying thing ever

if i were to not wake up tomorrow due to factors out of my control, I would be content with it for reasons I don't want to get into here. However, if the people closest to me were to die suddenly, I don't think I would be emotionally suited to handle it

The biggest fear I've had was probably a fear of being thought or spoken poorly/negative about... not by friends messing around, but by people who genuinely might think ill of me. I used to get really nauseated when I was criticized or slandered, and still do to some extent, but as time progresses I'm realizing that I can't fully control people's perception of me, and that no matter how good a person I try to be there will always be people who believe I'm not so I don't really care as much anymore

I used to have a fear of extreme heights, which I think was just kinda a natural instinctual thing, but it's slowly subsided over the years... I'm still afraid of rollercoasters though, albeit I literally haven't been on one in maybe a decade

I also have a fear of confrontation but I'm pretty sure that's just social anxiety and incompetency which has been compounded by recent mental health issues

Oh yeah and rejection's also a pretty big one but that might fall into the same category as my fear of confrontation

And this isn't really a fear, per se, but I'm extremely anxious about being prepared for any possible situation... I hate feeling underprepared or unsure of what to do next

If I have to pick one it would be Nosocomephobia.

Hate going to hospitals, it's a place where people get sick, might caught some illness on the waiting area.
When I think of patients in hospital room, 1st thing comes to mind is hospital room cost. Never ever get sick to the point of money goes down the drain. I remember seeing a video of person refusing to go on a stretcher on an ambulance and run away instead. I rather spend the money on nice food instead.

Becoming a vegetable, dependent on machines and caregivers, but nobody wants to “pull the plug” and I can’t do it myself and all I can do is watch loved ones watch me linger until the next infection or complication
