Why Aspas can't play Yoru

Because he is an entry duelist.

I know its hard for your VLR brain who listens 24/7 "Aspas is a baiter, Aspas is a baiter", but all the agents that he plays are only dive agents.

There is no better agent to bait than Yoru and Chamber, he hates Yoru.

Its not his fault that he plays smart even on dive duelist that does not make him a baiter, that just make him a smart duelist, he is an entry duelist he has always been.

If he truly was a baiter he would love to bait Zekken and play Yoru/Chamber every map never taking the first fight and playing OP + TP every round.

This shit would be baiting, but that is not how he plays.

Nah he was less of a baiter in the past but starting in 2024 he has slowly transitioned into the biggest baiter duelist in all of vct

I used to defend him but genuinely it hurts to watch this guy save in winnable situations and refuse to get past chokepoints by himself

He is a baiter, it is practically undeniable now. He farms first kills on defense side with OP and does jack shit on attack besides sometimes get a kill thru an early gunfight. When it’s time to dash or satchel in site he’s nowhere to be seen unless Tex and zekken are hand holding him

if you watched MIBR vs NRG, he literally never goes in first ever. He was 4/8 on attack rounds for first kills/deaths while zekken was 12/10.

He is a baiter and never will not be. He may be a smart player, but he is not an entry duelist.

Olha os imbecis do NA ali em cima "Aspas não é um jogador flexivel, ele é tipo demon1 e yay", o desgraçado do mada ganhou do MIBR sem jogar 1 MAPA DE YORU SE QUER, spammou 2 BONECOS A SERIA INTEIRA COM 5 MAPAS.

O Aspas jogou com 4 duelistas em 5 mapas e adivinha quem é chamado de limitado? O Aspas

Eles não assistem o jogo, eles gostam de dar hate de graça.

I agree with you completely honestly the people that call Aspas a baiter are blind to the truth. I mean honestly just look at Aspas' First engagements vs NRG, him and Zekken have pretty much the same first engagements and people call Zekken a "selfless" entry. When you look at things like this its so blatant they have a narrative against our boy.

Anyways whatever you do, please do NOT look at how many first engagements Aspas got on attack vs NRG compared to Zekken. That'd be so horrible and Reductive. Let me just leave this here though:

the thing with aspas is that he’s a very strong OPer and you know which duelist agent allows him to OP and TP away without risking his life? YORU!

Not only that, he can also be the second person in alongside zekken in double duelist comps but instead they have to juggle the OP every round and that made their defense painful to watch at times

Alternatively the coaches could just not make him play this kind of style

Ah mano, enquanto o aspinhas tiver nessa má fase, os cara vão continuar falando merda... Geral sabe que ele é um absurdo a mais de 3-4 anos, mas enquanto o MIBR e o aspas não voltar a "ganhar" algo, vai ser assim direto, nem tenta criar narrativas e textos pra provar o contrário pq é igual petista, nada vai mudar a cabeça desses caras.

E sobre essa má fase do aspas, acredito que isso tem muito mais a ver com estratégias ruins do mibr como um todo do que anti-strats dos oponentes, mesmo que o Ethan tenha admitido isso + a saúde do aspas (querendo ou não) está sendo prejudicada tbm, pq a cirurgia do coração que ele fez é separada em 2 etapas, e ele só fez 1... sendo assim, os treinos do MIBR tbm foram afetados, e nos jogos, era nítido que o map pool e os setups pra entry/defesa não foram 100% setados ou corrigidos (o que ficou bem exposto nas MD5)
