abit of backstory. I am on jett(sorry mistaked agent) and we are on breeze, we win pistol round and i buy an outlaw. I go to peek mid doors on mid and viper is on the OPPOSITE site and as the round begins they put their wall up. waylay double dashed on me and i die(within a second).

Think of it as a viper's pov, you need to know where your teammates are, what guns are they used, what are they most likely trying to do from that position. you literally just said "dont expect anything from a rank teammate" so why do you expect teammate to call that he's op/outlaw and about to peek when you can just press tab and see?

As a terrible iron player who has been told numerous times that I should stop playing the game, I think it’s a crummy thing to say. Of course, when folks say this, there’s not really anything to do but roll your eyes and go next, but that doesn’t mean it’s not toxic.
The idea that a video game, which 99% of people are playing solely for entertainment, ought only to be played by experts who never make any mistakes at all is just silly. It also ignores the fact that if people continue playing, they might actually learn from their mistakes and improve over time. Obviously no one is going to get any better at Valorant by never playing again.

Well, the question you asked initially was if you are toxic, and if you are telling your teammates they are incompetent and should just stop playing, then I would say yes, you are being toxic.
As for the separate issue of why they didn’t know your weapon and location before raising a wall despite being in a high rank, I don’t know. Maybe they got to asc/immo by being cracked mechanically but are lacking in game sense. Maybe they weren’t paying full attention to the situation throughout the whole map for whatever reason. Maybe they just hit the wrong key, who knows?
I guess the point is that when your teammate screws something up in the second round, instead of immediately raging and saying they’re incompetent and should uninstall, the better way to handle it would be to explain what happened and ask them to check the minimap next time before using utility. Also, while you might argue a high-rank player “should” be aware of the entire game state at all times, it’s never a bad idea to explicitly communicate your intentions and how you want your teammates to support you. If you’re going to say something, “hey, I had an outlaw mid but your wall blocked my sight line and I got killed instantly, please check the minimap next time before raising the wall” is so much more productive than “hey, you’re incompetent, please stop playing.”

Considering that mako was putting his mid orb up despite his teammate having an op in mid in a pro game shows how wrong you are. Like if you don't comm it the viper is going to put up her smokes because for the most part it is beneficial to every other player that isn't using a scoped weapon mid.
