If a woman told you Nongshim would lose this match, then Xi Lai
To be fair, I don’t think I would look thrilled if someone wanted to take my picture after I got off a 14 hour flight…
It’s like rain on your wedding day, it’s a free ride when you’ve already paid, it’s the good advice that you just didn’t take, and who would have thought it figures?
Am I actually gay? Yes. Is everyone on this site or everyone who plays Valorant gay? No.
The order of the most recent eight agents to be released was Deadlock, Iso, Clove, Vyse, Tejo, Waylay, Veto, Miks
Most of the first kill and first death data seem to be missing too, and the KAST for players on Streamer Arena seems suspiciously high for a team that lost 3-13
The ACS and ADR (if not other things too) are messed up on the Ascent game. No one on the winning team had an ACS higher than 59 or an ADR over 48, and I know Yarwiz didn’t do great for Streamer Arena at 9/14/0, but an ACS of 2 and ADR of 3 with those stats is obviously wrong…
How do you get an ACS of 55 while having 17 kills in a 15 round game (Xalleby on Haven)? The lowest amount of base combat points you can get for a kill is 70, for killing the last opposing player alive. In a 15 round game with no agents that could have resurrected anyone, a minimum of two of the kills would have to have been part of 2K rounds, which would mean the second kills in each round would have been worth 90 points, plus 50 points for the multi-kill. Even if all 17 kills were done by dealing only 1 point of damage, the minimum possible combat score for the game would have been (1570) + (290) + (250) + (171) = 1,347, which over 15 rounds gives an ACS of 89.8. Clearly, 55 is wrong, and if those kills were not all as late in the rounds as possible and doing the minimum damage possible, it’s probably way too low. In fact, everyone’s ACS on Haven looks unusually low - the highest ACS on the winning team is only 128. Something is fishy with these stats.
I can understand that, if it’s really light rain, that’s not bad for walking around
Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia
Rain and snow are nice to look at from indoors, but not if you have to be outside. Sunshine can be pleasant too, but full sun is uncomfortably bright, in my opinion. My perfect weather would be cloudy, 23 C, and a light breeze - not too bright, but dry, and comfortable.
0/8, Riot should just make all the agents unplayable so G2 can’t win with any of them
I’m just disappointed he doesn’t play Phoenix with a name like that
I want someone to glaze donuts, so I can eat them. (There are even several players named donut on VLR, so get to it folks!)
Apparently the VLR mods haven’t seen any of them yet…
I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but they said “were,” the past tense of to be, not “we’re,” a contraction of we are.
G2 is second seed, as others have said, MIBR is first
Furia, 100T, and NRG all finished with a 3-2 record, so they were in a 3-way tie for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The first tiebreaker is head-to-head match score, which would put Furia over NRG, NRG over 100T, but 100T over Furia, so that doesn’t break the tie. The next tiebreaker is head-to-head map differential, and Furia was +1, 100T was 0, and NRG was -1, so that’s why Furia is 2nd, 100T is 3rd, and NRG is 4th.
I don’t think getting a different IP address requires changing internet providers, routers, or anything that complex. My internet provider changes my IP address every few months for no apparent reason and I don’t have to do anything for it. (I only notice because Hulu + Live TV thinks I’m not at home and I have to update the account with the new IP.)
I think map differential could come into play. If Loud wins, there would be four teams at 3-2. MIBR beat all the other tied teams (G2, Loud, Lev), so they would be 1st place. That would leave a 3-way tie between G2, Loud, and Lev, and like you point out, the head-to-head would be G2 over Loud, Loud over Lev, but Lev over G2, so that wouldn’t break the tie. The next tie breaker is head-to-head map differential, and as of now, among those three teams, Lev is +1, G2 is +1, and Loud is -2. So if Loud win 2-0, it would be G2 +1, Loud 0, Lev -1, putting G2 in 2nd, Loud in 3rd, and Lev in 4th. If Loud win 2-1, it would be G2 +1, Lev 0, Loud -1, putting G2 in 2nd, Lev in 3rd, and Loud in 4th.
Of course, if Lev beat Loud, Lev finishes 4-1 for 1st place, G2 and MIBR are both 3-2, but MIBR beat G2, so MIBR would be 2nd and G2 would be 3rd, and Loud finishes 2-3 and takes 4th place on the head-to-head over Envy.
I’m surprised head to head is so controversial. If you have a two team tie and the teams played each other, isn’t head to head the most logical first thing to look at to break the tie?
I definitely understand this perspective and agree to an extent, though I personally like having the odds displayed for informational purposes. Of course, I don’t keep up with every Valorant league around the world, so it’s interesting if I’m looking at a match page to see who is favored to win and to what degree, or just how unexpected that upset was, etc. I wouldn’t bet real money on Valorant, so for me the odds are just extra information. The potential for influencing underage or vulnerable people into gambling that they can’t afford is a legitimate concern, however.
Wow, a 15625 bomb would be incredibly impressive!
The worst duelist in NA has to be me. To be fair, I almost never play duelist because I’m so bad at it, but I’m Iron 1, and the one game I played on Jett, I was 6/22 on a map that my team won. Clearly 0J_btw << v0rtyy.
Then Japan and FPX would make sense to me!
Why not FPX and whatever country you are actually from?
Yes, European colonization of the Americas was disastrous for the native inhabitants, but as a lifelong resident of the US, I’ve never heard anyone be scolded for mentioning the name of Christopher Columbus in public. Certainly it’s good to learn about the various consequences resulting from Columbus’ voyage, but to treat the name like it’s some kind of slur is just odd.
The battle of the teams whose names were made by removing the A that is the second letter of a seven letter word and capitalizing the remaining letters!
I’m bored as a bystander to this discussion.
Yeah, this is pretty telling. Sure it would pose an issue that ComeBack’s English isn’t that great, but when there are two other Turkish players on the team, clearly it was deeper than just a language barrier situation.
In the wise words of Clove, “Find the weakest link and kick 'em in the shin!”
I wish I could play deathmatches with only low-ranked players, I might actually have a chance then!
As far as I can tell, you can end up in a deathmatch with players of any rank. I’m Iron 1 and the person who won the last deathmatch I played is Immortal 3.
ExiT cannot exit Saudi Arabia… ironic and unfortunate
Nice, you’re only off by about 3500 km!
Tempe? Mesa? Chandler? Scottsdale? Or close in another way, like Phenix City, Alabama?
Maybe you’re in (FunPlus) Phoenix? Maybe you’ve ended up in hell, AKA Eternal Fire City?
Well, Masters London is scheduled to end on June 21, so presumably the upper bracket final will be on June 19. I guess this user expects 100T to win the upper final, thereby qualifying for the grand final, on that day.
