Min-hyuk (조민혁) has announced his retirement from competitive play.
"I'm so sorry for causing so much damage due to my own issues over this time," Flashback said. "I feel like I've been a poor player right up to the end, and I'm truly sorry to all the fans and my teammates. While I am retiring as a player here, I'm rooting for DRX to win everything this year and hope everything turns out well. I'm so happy that DRX is my first and last team. I'm sorry and thank you."
"Following the conclusion of the 2025 VCT OFF//SEASON, Flashback approached our management to discuss his future and formally requested his contract to be terminated in order to retire and re-center his life away from competitive Valorant," DRX said in its statement. "After numerous deliberations involving our coaching staff, management, and players, all parties have ultimately agreed to support Flashback's decision."

, Flashback has taken two different leaves of absence from DRX's main roster since being elevated to the main team in 2024, but now looks to close the book on his playing career.
"While his departure is sudden, we respect Flashback on his transparency regarding the key reasons surrounding his difficult decision," DRX said. "At this time, all involved believe it is in Flashback's best interest - as an individual, not just a player - for us to support him through this transition."
The former Sentinel player played a big part in DRX's strong finish to the season, playing Yoru in the double-Duelist comp that has since been dubbed the "mosquito comp", pairing him with
