This shit is so much cooler/better than any valorant tournament. So many more teams, so many more story lines, better crowd. Starting to get the valorant hate.

As opposed to EU dominating in CS?
"bu-but muh Furia"
Of the recent 35 S-tier tournaments, 32 were won by European teams.

Nah, CS2 is boring af to watch nowadays. Can't watch a full match without falling asleep, that esport died with CSGO.

Higher peak viewership and higher average viewership has a different say in the esport dying with CSGO lol

That's just not true lmao, none of the CS2 majors have had higher peak viewership than PGL Major Stockholm 2021 or PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
And the only CS2 event that has higher hours watched is BLAST Austin Major 2025, but after that all the next events with highest hours watched are all CSGO events: PGL Major Stockholm 2021, IEM Rio Major 2022, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and FACEIT Major London 2018.
CSGO as an esports was widely more popular.

It would be better if they weren't saving guns 1/3 of the rounds because of the game shitty economy.

no, theres so many international tournaments in CS that the Major loses the weight it could have, mfs can lose the major but next week there is another international with almost the same teams and you see the same matchups over and over again and thats boring

I love watching CS. Atleast players fight on site instead of staying in main and spamming guns

I think most of Val clears CS, but there are some elements of the Major that gap Val.

  1. The big swiss stages are so much more fun than doing a bunch of 4 team groups. I'd love to see Champs become a 24 team event, with a 16 team swiss stage, with the top 8 joining the top 8 teams who got a bye.
  2. I do like the fact we get an "A" and a "B" stream. From a fan perspective, it means I have to worry about less breaks. I also like the fact that two streams means we get more opportunities for Casters to experience globals. It would be nice to create more opportunities for up-and-coming casters.
  3. WHY DOES THE VAL UI NOT SHOW WHETHER A TEAM CAN BUY NEXT OR NOT. I'd be so nice to see when a player can afford a rifle + light armor, so you can yell at teams for forcing a retake quicker.

But most of what Val does is good / I perfer it. Expecially the ads. You don't notice how tolerable the Val ads are until you hear a CS ad to the beat of spongebob. I almost closed the stream after that. It was worse than a Boaster Bustdown.

I'm enjoying the Major tho.

That shit is so ass that i was watching LEV playing OFF Season tournaments but i didn't watch a single major match yet.

Furia can be the best team in the world but that shit has 0 hype, its just pure ASS.
