Riot doesn't take winning and placing well in internationals into account as much as to how much teams invest into the esport, and I'd argue teams like G2 and KRU do better in that regard compared to 100T.

There is zero chance Kru don't make it, they not only have a sizeable fanbase but they have also ran a GC team for years and an academy team. Things that are very valuable in Riot's eyes.
