What makes a GOAT?

When talking about the GOAT discussion. Do you value individual performances and consistency or trophies the most? Say you have a player that never won any trophy for whatever circumstances be it bad team or health problems but managed to stay consistent dropping great performances his entire career, would you consider him better or worse than someone who had bad and good seasons mixed but managed to lift some trophies?

Some people value different things on what makes a player better than others so I'm curious what some of yall think

Winning and being the best.

win at least once to prove you are a winner
perform consistently at top level to prove yourself individually

longevity and at least one trophy.
the longevity of players gets compared and the goat is decided.

rn, i think the goat is very debatable and there isnt 1 answer. it definitely isnt Ethan though (although he is top 10)

i feel like you can't join the GOAT debate if you don't have at least more than one masters or a champions.

Individual performances that prove you can do it on the biggest stage of the world + consistency, team success matters but a lot less than that for me
