brother they are part of the same continent, you can't erase that, they don't need to be "claimed" as americas, THEY ARE americas.
The problem lies in the act of playing it off as "americas"

Now theyre trying to claim LOUDs champs trophy as theirs under the name of "americas". Im not even coping here, if you watched vct back then you would understand what i mean
well like i said blame riot, they combined the regions in franchising. There's still banter between na/sa teams btw it's just now they support each other when the others get eliminated because they're the same region
mate, is it just me, or do you have the memory of a goldfish? Pre-franchising, there were no regions like we have today. There was no EMEA, APAC, CN, or Americas. In 2023, Rito games introduced Franchising, which divided the world into the regions we have today. If you brought up this point pre-franchising, then I would be inclined to agree with you. However, times are different now. It's the same thing as someone from Morocco claiming that their region has won champs before.

Well, you are objectively wrong. If you were to say North America does not have 3 trophies, you would be correct. But the fact of the matter is that the region is "Americas," not North America or South America, so Americas does have 3 trophies objectively since 3 teams from that region have won champs. the way NA names things is super confusing. sometimes "NA" means the whole continent, sometimes just North America. "America" can mean us, or just the US. its really messy.
NA = United States and Canada orgs
America = United States orgs
Americas = All teams in the VCT Americas League
so, since Loud, Eg, and Nrg are in the VCT Americas League, the Americas has 3 champs trophies.
However, NA only has 2 champs trophies (EG and NRG).
