I understand that Boaster plays a critical role in FNC's success, but -75 across Masters and Champs GF is deserving of criticism. If we're going to give him a ton of credit for their success, then he deserves blame for their failure.

Yes, his calling has generally been great, but at some point he can’t keep putting up -30 level performances without getting any negative talk
He's an amazing igl one of the best but choking 3 finals in a row deserves criticism aswell with such a stacked roster the calls on sunset were actually bad they kept losing rounds with advantages mostly thru calls that put them in hard positions
Nobody can say anything to his calling but -35 is too much. Ethan didn't call as good as boaster but he steped up and won them the champions.

Having an amazing IGL like Boaster or FNS just doesn't work anymore, it's not 2021.
Structures like PRX/NRG/G2(sneak) are just better where anyone can have a life game.

ok so both he and the coaches couldnt adjust first half yeah, but he was able to fix shit the second half. you cant only blame him for the bad half and not give him credit for the second half. same way you cant only give credit to chron and kaajak for the comeback but not blame them for the first half.

You actually discredited your own argument with that list. That list contains many of the most individually talented players in Valorant history, outside of the magnum mystic era. From 2023 onwards he’s had by far the greatest collection of talent around him in Val.

Ragebait aside, I genuinely don't understand why Boaster is exempt from criticism to some people. Damn man even I understand when d4v4i whiffs, when something ego peeks with an op out of a viper orb, when jinggg j0ngggs, and when patmen shits himself in an important round. But whenever fnatic loses people will blame anyone on fnc but boaster. At some point you have to agree that a player going -30 and -35 in a match is detrimental.
