I understand that Boaster plays a critical role in FNC's success, but -75 across Masters and Champs GF is deserving of criticism. If we're going to give him a ton of credit for their success, then he deserves blame for their failure.

Hes the reason they even got here. No need to criticize anyone. They played insane plus someone gotta lose
Nobody can say anything to his calling but -35 is too much. Ethan didn't call as good as boaster but he steped up and won them the champions.
Having an amazing IGL like Boaster or FNS just doesn't work anymore, it's not 2021.
Structures like PRX/NRG/G2(sneak) are just better where anyone can have a life game.
put some respect on him name man. on of the greatest igls ever. he brought them back from being 2-0 down on maps. thats insane
Oni_APAC [#6]Ethan +15 don't even use the IGL angle
yeah 'cause ethan cant call and its all bonkar making strats so he can follow them
Big_Potato [#3]Hes the reason they even got here. No need to criticize anyone. They played insane plus someone gotta lose
Yes, his calling has generally been great, but at some point he can’t keep putting up -30 level performances without getting any negative talk
laugh all you want nrg fans, but at the end of the match, his gf came and supported him. He won anyways.
"he brought them back" it was chron nd kajaak who poped off numbers dont lie buddy
aimnobody1 [#9]the fanboys will downvote you but you’re absolutely right
"im gonna say smth stupid, but because i knew people will disagree with my dumb take it means im right"
Big_Potato [#3]Hes the reason they even got here. No need to criticize anyone. They played insane plus someone gotta lose
He's an amazing igl one of the best but choking 3 finals in a row deserves criticism aswell with such a stacked roster the calls on sunset were actually bad they kept losing rounds with advantages mostly thru calls that put them in hard positions
Hawk1y1 [#14]"he brought them back" it was chron nd kajaak who poped off numbers dont lie buddy
and who made all the calls without a time out to bring them back into it?
list of players boaster brought to a grand final
tbh there's an argument for him being the most impactful person in valorant ever and you're out here being a retard

realistically, can you name a better igl. i hate fnatic to the bone but really who even comes close in acheivments and longetivity?
GhostKing44 [#17]and who made all the calls without a time out to bring them back into it?
and who made all the calls when they used all their timeouts on first half where they lost it 11-1?
Cael [#20]and who made all the calls when they used all their timeouts on first half where they lost it 11-1?
ok so both he and the coaches couldnt adjust first half yeah, but he was able to fix shit the second half. you cant only blame him for the bad half and not give him credit for the second half. same way you cant only give credit to chron and kaajak for the comeback but not blame them for the first half.
Bro literally 2nd in toronto ewc champs, should blame Alfa not online in the 1st & 2nd map
nobody___100 [#18]list of players boaster brought to a grand final
- derke
- magnum
- mistic
- doma
- leo
- chronicle
- alfajer
- crashies
- kaajak

You actually discredited your own argument with that list. That list contains many of the most individually talented players in Valorant history, outside of the magnum mystic era. From 2023 onwards he’s had by far the greatest collection of talent around him in Val.
Ragebait aside, I genuinely don't understand why Boaster is exempt from criticism to some people. Damn man even I understand when d4v4i whiffs, when something ego peeks with an op out of a viper orb, when jinggg j0ngggs, and when patmen shits himself in an important round. But whenever fnatic loses people will blame anyone on fnc but boaster. At some point you have to agree that a player going -30 and -35 in a match is detrimental.

You may get downvoted but you're 100% right

At some point it is an FPS game, you gotta shoot people to win rounds

doma - went to fuckin india
leo - only real accomplishment was beating optic in copenhagen until 2023
alfajer - was a nobody until fnatic
crashies - considered washed asl in late 2023 and 2024
kaajak - rookie and some thought he was an onliner
derke - doing fuckall now on a team that was supposed to dominate this year
what kinda revisionism drug are you on
