i firmly believe so, and if he didn't he could just play breach as he is also one of the best breaches of all time
breach stun is still one of the most reliable pieces of util in the game, and his flashes (although dodged 99% of the time) still are important for getting better angles and advantageous gunfights. his ult is def one of the best in the game as well. maybe his peak isn't as high as some chara like kayo but he's good

Make ewc a part of the official vct events like its been done in apex legends ALGS. Remove masters 2 and bump up masters 1 prize pool to match ewc prize pool. Also make masters 1 12 team event and ewc + champs is 16 team. Also fix the god damn ewc format

I just dont like 8 team events man. Masters Rejkavik 2022 was a 12 team event despite being masters 1. Give masters 1 better prize pool, masters two a better prize pool (in line with ewc ideally) and keep both masters a 12 team event and youre sorted

Most of tier 2 is better than tier 1, in all regions. "Experience" is criminally overrated at the moment, and that includes IGLs.
Edit: wait this sounds worse than I mean. Ignore this for the top 4 teams in each region, and we're talking the best 10-15 players in a t2 scene, not existing rosters. Still enough to make several tier 1 teams. They'll suck for 6th months until they shake the nerves out, but "experienced" players are not getting any better.
issue with this take is its just form dependant, of course the top 15 tier 2 players currently in form will be better than the bottom 15 tier one players who are currently in bad form, there ARE T1 pros that have been bad for a long time and are worse than the best T2 players but like, everyone knows that

GC does bring in a unique audience though that they have indeed reached and cultivated. Part of the reason they're female player numbers are so high compared to some games.
