Genuinely do not know how there are S1mon glazers out there. He was Mid his whole career on EDG and i genuinely cannot fathom how people put this guy in a pedestal as if he is the only reason this team won in the first place, it baffles me.
ZJC did play like shit during EWC, but his debut match in China showed more promise than S1mon ever did and I hope ZJ can bring it up.
i think that too, their main issues are their poor meta read and macro right now, both of which can be fixed overtime
all the way until getting S1mon EDG were MID
after S1mon left EDG are MID
for 7/9 tourney durations EDG were MID, but S1mon unbelievers try to say that it was just a coincidence that the only 2 good tourneys were when they had S1mon, holy cope

their comps are just not good zjc has really good potential, they are playing just outdated comps
It’s crazy how they played better with a meta comp on lotus while losing both pistols than on haven with a breach comp where they won both pistols and anti-ecos only to lose every other round. Makes you wonder..
honestly i slightly agree, s1mon was playing abysmally after champs, idk what it is with vlr glazing players as soon as they stop playing. He was a great player but people are acting like he solo won them champs.

The fact is that he was never and I mean never standout on the team, worst player on that team my a long shot. He got booted for a reason.
You might be right , but superstars aren’t what win you titles , it’s consistency although as of rn the only org that’s been close to consistent is unfortunately FNC
well you do need superstar players to win titles in the first place, every masters/champs winning team had at least one but i get what you mean

Slowly is Tyloo's best player. It is like trying to buy Oxy from C9 or Primmie from Talon, the Org won't want them gone.

slowly's not a good fit for EDG, his util is extremely self centered, EDG needs someone that can assist kangkang to the max
this is gonna be a bit long but i think you missed the impact he had bcos all we see are the kills his team got. but some of the best clips they had were partly bcos of him. chichoos ace on lotus at the door on A. it was a cross map stun. that splits up the two in tree whilst one had util in hand kks 4k guardian was a flash by him. to split them up too. yes they still had to hit the shots but it was made ALOT easier bcos of him. along w the others also helping. it was a team effort and he was part of it. doesnt take away from ZJC hes still insane just alot of the support goes unnoticed bcos the clip itself is insane and you praise the only getting the kills. theres no read on meta rn after the tejo nerfs and ppl just went back to 2024 comps instead of trying something new for the most part.
I agree with you to an extent. We do not know whether or not S1mon just had the read for Chichoo or Chichoo asked S1mon to do the stun. I agree his Utility was good but nothing someone better can learn within time.
Regarding it being a team dynamic, its best that S1mon is gone for that reason because its clear everyone on the team got their relationship fractured with him for not putting in the work with them.
the main point is ZJC breach shouldnt matter cuz you are not supposed to be playing breach in the first place
you should run newer comps not old boring ones
its more than likely they coordinated it to clear it bcos the door was being opened so the stun hit the door to deny space. yeah there may be someone better who could do his job but at the time he was integral to EDG. but totally agree, a big part of the game is the mental game so having someone like that is gonna bring them down even in matches if he was really important. its just hard to find someone w the same thinking as him bcos clearly he was that missing piece. ZJC is promising tho honestly.
we do understand the concept of a 4v5 go back and look at his stats its not justifable plus u guys are switching up so hard half ya all called for his head after bangkok. EDG couldve gone b2b seeing their form

They don't have a read on the game right now. They've adapted poorly to the meta changes all year.
