Where does canezerra rank vs past tier 2 or under 18 prospects all time before we knew how good they would be in tier 1. Would you put him number 1, or behind guys like oxy and zekken when they were prospects.

he has the potential to be the face of the game as long as he keeps his aim up, learns other agents, and doesnt get cancelled
ive watched so many vods of ts guy and as much as i like him i cant wrap my head around why hes good if that makrs sense. its not like he has generational mechanics like primmie or demon1. a lot of times just trollpeeks angles, takes space 24/7 and has a rather weird way of aiming which includes a lot of spraying but still he wins so many gunfights that another person with the same aim style wouldnt. Is it really just him being braindead and catching the enemy offguard or is he really some gigabrain mastermind that always just makes the right decision to make the enemy look bad
americans hating demon1 has to be the funniest thing ever like bro carried yall to the first champs trophy for na
he quite literally plays optimal valorant
like with demon1 primmie flor (all great mechanically) their aim can likely translate to other games but cane has lowk mastered how to play valorant
yea question is what differentiates from others because often times when i watch his gameplay it looks like the kills are just there for grabs but when i do the same shit in ranked i get owned
he just does creative plays. i remember he had the highest shorty kills in one of the vcl tournament by a huge gap
he's valorant jesus, he just does everything right in a way that you dont usually see. he just has a perfect vision for the game and if he continues to grow he could be the future goat
oxy was never really rated that highly as a “prospect”. he was an unknown coming into t2 and even in t2 he was inconsistent. zekken has always been good but never great until 2024 (he had his moments in 2023 but how good could you really be in that 2023 roster).
cane is probably right at verno level. he also has like 9 more months to boost his reputation lol
Zekken, Reduxx, and Oxy can play Raze, but Cane's Raze is not as good. Also his decision making is very questionable. He gets away with it on NV because Eggsterr goes Yoru.
Zekken was never really a tier 2 prospect, he was on noble who at the time made the tier 1 circuit then got picked up by xset in mid 2021
I think verno is by far the biggest real tier 2 prospect by hype
zekken was hyped as fuck, its just that verno had a clear pipeline to tier 1 and is recent but there were people who wanted zekken on sentinels before he went to xset
he was a duelist/initiator prospect at 15/16 that was the second igl on a very decent team, still hasnt been much better
You might be misremembering, Zekken was a prospect at the time sentinels were considered the best team in the world, there is no way they were considering replacing anyone on sentinels for him.
no one dominated tier 2 stats wise like cane did on his debut run with RANKERS
players like zekken/OXY/Demon1 lingered in tier 3 for a while before getting their break
Better than Reduxx
I think it's potential is about the same as mada and oxy.
Not as good as Zekken which has a high standard and consistent stats.
If he has valuable Flex aptitude, I would like to see him join as a Flex under Zekken.
SEN lacks carry players to win or place high in world competitions.
A composition of four IGL and carry players is needed in the future.
At least three carry players are needed.
Canezerra statistically in both Tier 2 and ranked is insane. He definitely needs to work on his agent pool a bit, but he can fry on any agent because of how dialled in his aim is. His clips feel like he's playing against Irons and Bronzes. There was a recent clip of him on Icebox where he is trying to find the last kill and Eggsterr is trying to yoink it - Cane finds the last guy and deletes him with a rapid flick. He seemed so nonchalant about it as well. Suffice to say, Cane has some insane potential based on stats and the eye test.
To compare him to other young prospects: Zekken is probably the gold standard since he has been in the higher end NA scene since he was 16 whilst playing for XSET. Zekken has had insane experience and timing to just about meet the requirements to play internationals and high-tier Valorant year after year. His agent pool has been pretty great too.
OXY has been a pretty well known ranked demon, but I feel most of his exposure came from the memes around him since he was always regarded as LFT-OXY. OXY's clips are nice and he definitely pops off in ranked as well as pro matches, but OXY's notoriety coming up in Tier 2 was partly down to his identity as well as his individual skill - G2 in Tier 2 was absolutely dreadful so it only highlighted his quality more.
Reduxx was pretty crazy for Oxygen alongside Verno and it landed him a future Tier 1 spot for SEN when he turns 18. Verno was pretty standout since he was an initiator going crazy statistically. I think a final honourable mention is nightz since he was part of the original Rankers roster and was insane on the Clove. Cane has clearly surpassed nightz who might have been a Clove one-trick based on the stats fall-off.
he plays every duelist + clove + vyse + cypher so i wouldn't say he has a bad agent pool
he could easily transition into a fragging anchor/lurker
Even if his agent pool is decent he plays worse than ur average ranked player, insane aim and mechanics but he has a fucking lot to adjust if he doesnt wanna get destroyed in t1
how does he play worse than an average ranked player if he's better than the average ranked player......
theres a gap between "average radiants" and tier 2 players, especially since canezerra went from being an average radiant to a tier 2 player with a "ranked" playstyle
well yeah he overheats but if he were to join t1 the team wouldnt ALLOW him to do it.... they'd probably force discipline into him
but then again you know how paper rex plays especially jing and something
He would need to learn a ton (play with team, trade, play for space and more) rn hes just whzy on crack
Way too much glaze for rolling na t2.. So many players that frag & produce crazy numbers on worst teams.
Envy is best na t2 team & t2 is in mud atm.
there's more to valorant than running at people with an odin and playing just iso & reyna
