f0rsakeN deserved his mvp

i believed u can't just looked at the stats when it comes to him. he's one of those players who can make an impactful gameplay even when he's on a bad day.

just look at fnatic and prx pov (check their comms video) from the last round. him making play from smokes and positioning shows how smart he is. he's also igl and flex. his kda tally also wasn't bad at all

i don’t think anyone is calling his mvp undeserved, he clearly, like you said, had an incredibly high impact on PRX’s win.

it’s just that, by the optics, alfa had such an insane fragging performance that it seemed like he should have won.

people did call it undeserved, saying alfa was robbed of his mvp status

and ppl still dont put alfa the top 10 players oat. He's easily in top 3 or 4

yea but when you play consistently well throughout a whole tournament like alfa, i believe it was more deserving that alfa should've won
i guess they didnt wanna give it to him so it wouldn't look like putting salt on a wound

Edit: i said it was undeserving, but it wasnt, f0rsaken also deserved it.

he won but alfa played better, simple, if we're talking about an MVP for an individual's performance it's gotta be alfa

"played better"

Brother is IGLing a team with 4 monkey brains, and is still the most consistent fragger on his team of 4 ex-duelists and current duelists, playing the widest flex pool possible at the highest level, and having unimaginable impact.

In the grand final if f0rsaken didn't have a shitty icebox game he would have went nearly equal in kills with alfa. And this is while IGLing too.

alfa still played better. patmen is doing all the work in vc anyways his team is full of braindeads cant believe forsaken gets the credit

i believe after champs24. There was an offseason in China, fskn and mf had a guess game and then they both admitted fskn is the igl mid of the guess game

right when benkai left, davai picked it up for a little bit, but then it became 90% forsaken with a bit of cycling calls from the rest of the team. They also had some officials where they would give one of the players calling responsibility for a map. The one that comes into mind immediately was that a couple different times when they would go into split, they would have Something try and call for a map

riot had made it clear that the MVP will never be given to a loser and its 100% valid cause it will be looked at as a pity mvp and it will dull down the title and its status i get there was a vote but it should never go to a loser its just bad vibes imagine winning and being the overall better team meaning you couldn't stat pad and someone takes the MVP title cause there team was worse then yours so they had more kills to get not discrediting alfa's performance buts its just another aspect of bad vibes it brings its either pity or injustice if he broke kill record by a landslide thats a different story tho but its still 50% of bad vibes
and it sucks to say cause it should be like we want it to be where any player can win but its stands for Most Valuable Player and i hate to say it if you didnt win you objectively got less value

Forsaken is a good player but he didn't deserve the MVP award. Also, choosing the final MVP doesn't mean they chose the best player in the tournament

MVP means Most Valuable Player, not who got the highest KDA. Alfa is an aim god, respectfully, but that's all he is. f0rsakeN is flex, IGL, AND a great aimer (just not as good). He's the whole package.

i genuinely think that f0rsaken had close to or even impact to alfa on server (cause outside of it he clears flex iglfragger) with only 81 kills i think 90 to 95% of his kills were MAX impact and im only talking about the final he 100% deserves tourney mvp

Alfa had 99 to f0rsaken's 81 for two main reasons:

  1. f0rsaken dropped a stinker performance on icebox while alfa stayed consistent for all the maps, -9 compared to alfa's -0
  2. the maps where f0rsaken took over alfa dropped a few kills more than him for a total of +9 (alfa to f0rsaken kill differential) excluding icebox

grand total of 18 which happens to be the exact gap between their kills

TLDR: alfa consistently got slightly more kills than f0rsaken per map over the series and never really had a bad map either

i said impact not who went +and who went - anyone can check that tbh i dont think anyone would have said alfa had more impact then f0rsaken without looking at the vlr page eye test only f0rsaken impact was similar to or even with alfa watching the game and not immediately looking at vlr stats no one in the right mind would say f0rsaken had a bad map not great by any means but above avg imo on impact not KD on icebox
cause he got alot of impact kills all kills have impact but watching the game it felt like f0rsaken had 2x multiplier on impact on every kill it every time it was up in the air or we were down he would show up even on icebox that 2v4 with jingg f0rsaken was Critical and that was he worst map

I'm saying that outside of icebox f0rsaken performed nearly just as well as alfa
I'm agreeing with you that f0rsaken deserved it
He is nearly matching fnatic's best player while IGLing

all mvp's go to the winning team, but the clear mvp of the series and tournament as a whole was obviously alfajer theres no denying that, you cant bring up past moments and succeses for a tournament mvp. Alfajer MVP.

furthermore you also have to realize that alfajer practically carried fnc in every map to make them close, there isnt really an argument for forsaken to be mvp other than his team won

I agree with alfa being the best player in the tourney but chron and kajaak also had some insane maps and it wasnt just 100% alfa

i never said they didnt, alfajer was clearly the best and most impactful player in the tournament and was very important for FNC
