stick to one opening and try to just think and analyze the board before each move
I use Vienna and I try to, but sometimes I miss one move and that loses me the game, or it's just very slight poor moves that make me lose the endgame
the main thing with openings isn't the move sequence but the pawn structure and how you wish to approach the middlegame
I guess my problem is that I'm mainly on the defensive sometimes because my attacks don't have enough power in a way
If you want, I can give you some games to analyse

This one is quite clear. I was black, I blundered my knight and I lost the endgame from there

This game, I was white, it was just small mistakes that meant I lost in the end, or that's at least what I think what happened
Btw sorry for taking so long, I was trying to find I game where it was less clear why I lost
i took a quick look at them, and yeah the black one is quite clear just an oversight, you will get rid of this the more you play and no.2 was just as you said little bit of mistakes.
i think there are three main conclusions i could find,
i suggest you do puzzles more to improve your in game awareness , and as far as i remember chess.com gives only 3 free puzzles a day so you could use lichess for puzzles
I used to be able to do puzzles, I had like 2100 on chess.com because I was gifted premium or smth
But then for some reason, it dropped me down to 1600 out of nowhere
But yea, I've been uses lichess for puzzles ever since
nice, also you just have 360 games on an account of 5 years; keep on practicing and grinding and you will hit 1500 in no time
i haven't played much of openings, but i reached 1700 chess.com and 1900 (bullet and rapid) lichess solely by one tricking ruy lopez and caro kann, as these deal with the most common opening moves there is a high chance you don't fuck up your pawn structure or your opening plan
Sometimes I have to mess up my pawn structure to not lose material
thats quite normal, i think the more you play and analyze your games you will realize your common mistakes and be able to plan a move or two forward, this is one of the best tips i got. Restrict yourself to playing 3 or 4 games a day and spend some time in the analysis board with eval bar and the computer lines, see what mistake you made and what was the computer's idea of optimal play while some of the ideas are ridiculous a lot of them are human like as well. Chess is just a game of pattern recognition with a bit of calculation and the more you analyze the more you learn
what helped me the most is following annotated games between 2 strong players, there are lots of youtube videos out there that walks through master games
studying basic endgame knowledge also never hurts, like how to win with king and pawn vs lone king
although you can definitely learn a lot from it it doesnt necessarily have to be world champ level game, older games/low master level (like 2100+) games can also be super educational
The one where her mum was like forcing her to play and other stuff??
i was more of a megami tensei guy with psp and shi it was fun shit was hard to beat tho
Ye, both games are extremely similar
But we don't mention that one persona that looks like a... genitalia
