Corrode Backlash

Out of the Dozens of times I have Q'd Corrode today there have been many people complaining that they think the map is terrible. I ask them

"What makes the map so bad"

Over 90% of the time they say it is because there are "Way too many corners".

Which seems like horse shit to me because the major criticism among the community has been that on Valorant Maps there are minimal places to play and not get killed in after the utter util spam of the site. Now we are complaining about the thing we wished for?

The Community cant choose what they want can they.

ranked players don't know what a "utility" is. Corrode is the best map that's been added to the game in terms of launch state since fracture imo (or ascent if you want to exclude "gimmick maps").

Depends on what you want from the map.

Worst case copy paste their Pearl isn't dreadful, but I think there are better options on the defense which looks to be the weaker side.

the corners are gonna help cover them when they end up running in and need to find safety

Bro I get people crying about camping in fucking swiftplay. Like fucking clear corners dawg. I'm not sitting in some god spot with an odin I'm just taking timings. The players love to blame anything but themselves. People were crying when abyss came out too but the problem was always the people. It was a legit good map.

i just have the most fun playing omen/cypher on that map man. It's very fun watching people fall off all the time trying crazy shit. Pretty sure you can jump around the map with neon as well

Best we've had in a while, it's just gonna suck when your team picks Reyna/Clove cuz they dont have enough util to set up or deal with the map's layered defenses.

I really like the map. The mid is kinda ass and entering b is a death trap without mid but the map is pretty good otherwise. Odin a is horrendous though
