I find it hilarious how emea is looked at as a 1 team region when China has has ONE good team in their history. We need to start having some conversations. Hopefully wolves can change this

I love this point so let's talk about it. America's has made 5 grandfinals since franchising winning 2 of those events (loud, eg 2x, sen, g2) emea has made 4 grandfinals winning 2 (fnc 2x, th 2x) pacific has made 3 grandfinals winning 2 of them (prx, geng, t1) china has made 1 grandfinal wining that 1 (edg). China is obviously a young region, but the 1 team region title emea gets makes literally 0 sense. Even if we talk about deep runs, this run by wolves is the second good run a chinese team has had in 3 years.

While it's true that china is a "one team region" if you look at results, the one team region people are referring to is right now, and as of right now EMEA is basically a one team region on the international stage. And the main reason it doesn't apply to China is because they don't have as much hype behind them compared to the EMEA teams who were glazed a lot. Though I would refer to both of them as one team regions as of right now. (If wolves do really well, maybe China won't be one then)

cause the performance of the best team flipped every other tournament for apac. DRX would get the best placement, then then PRX would, then DRX would again, rinse and repeat. then geng came in 2024, but even then for madrid geng was 2nd and prx was 3rd. even to this day, t1 won bangkok, but right now at toronto, t1 didn't even make it and GenG are looking to be the favorites

for emea, every single top placement for emea in 2024 by team heretics
same with fnatic for 2023

the top of apac was all relatively good imo, but they werent ever dominant event after event after event over the other apac orgs

bro even NA is 1 team region now.....don't let SEN fool you they will be destroyed. G2 is their only good team and let's be honest if TL didn't have the Nats visa issue TL would have eliminated that SEN in 2nd game and then Sen would lose to PRX 3rd game....look NA getting eliminated by beating Chinese teams only. this trophy should be Pacific's in normal circumstances. In abnormal circumstances they should also win.
