For as long as I can remember, people despised sentinels. Idk why this is. Just because we didn’t face gen g in swiss stage? We faced wolves that beat th. But this can’t be the only reason. I hate being attacked for supporting the team I like.

no it hasnt especially w this new generation the fans r getting worse and worse
Short term memory. They used to be much worse especially when tenz was on the team
acting like sentinels didnt drag their nuts in the champs group stage last year
reminds of Lakers/Taylor Swift fans, delousional glazers who usually have 0 ball knowledge and just watch to glaze the team/players.
lakers fans are always either the dumbest NBA fans or the smartest no inbetween and its like 95% of them are the dumbest

yeah they do some really nice stuff like letting them know they're gone from a tweet, promising them a spot then dropping them, signing shroud to play with them for clout, etc. best org for sure!
Annoying fans, many lucky breaks, childish owner, arrogance and overrated AF. To name a few.
npc owner + tarik + humongous fanbase which means they will always be loud, win or lose, right or wrong
tenz complains about everything and is just weird asf, braindead fanbase etc
brother tenz isnt even a part of sen anymore. only person worthy of disliking (not even hating) is tarik and the fans
sen fans suck and i have better teams to root for. since last year sen will just be a good team, nothing crazy. i want to root for teams that have comeup/comback stories around them like PRX this year, TH last year.
Rob moore is chill tho, although he likes talking to tarik i dont understand how
Fans are either casual watchers being delusional, crazy glazers, 12 year olds or straight up annoying. I like the team and players but the fans make me want to see them lose sometimes.
sen was nice, but after toast said that they can't have that toxic energy because the players that built that are not there anymore, they turned into a kpop corporate org, only acting tuff vs teams that is popular to hate, but kissing the ass of teams that have fans so they are never on anyone's bad side

Here’s my take on Sentinels,
People hate them because of 3 main reasons:
- Non ball knowledge knowers support them similar to people rooting for the lakers, chiefs, or dodgers because of a popular player. TenZ is the face of Valorant and so young audience members like the team he played for.
- They throw money at their problems - They were the only team to pay the TenZ $1-2 Million buyout for TenZ. Bang was also taken from 100T only because Sentinels offered him an obscene amount of money
- Spoiled Fanbase - (Similar to FNATIC) For most fans and teams, making an international tournament alone is cause for celebration. Unfortunately Sentinels don’t see anything less than a trophy as a complete failure of the team. That comes off as very entitled.
Additional note: I, along with a lot of fans, enjoy seeing new faces and teams at international stages. I am very happy MIBR, RRQ, Wolves, and XLG are getting a chance to prove themselves at Toronto. I don’t enjoy seeing the same teams at international stages and to a higher extend, I HATE seeing the same teams and players winning multiple trophies. It makes the game redundant and boring in a high variance esports.
