i get why that's true in the sense that you want to kickoff an event on a weekend, but for a 5 game cycle, like swiss stage, the last 2 days are bound to be the games with the highest stakes, since they'll be the 0-1 and 1-1 games, which are also going to be the ones people want to watch the most

realistically, the days of the week they're played on doesn't matter nearly as much as the times they're played, but i just thought it was odd that they chose to schedule it like such after already choosing poor timeslots

yeah but those tournaments have all been in Asia, we have a NA tournament, times should be good for us, at least like 2pm-5pm or 3pm-and 6pm. I know 5pm and 8pm is pretty bad times for other regions but games being at 12pm-3pm EST and 9am-12pm west coast is just awful.

the times the games are at should be the most convenient for the people in that region, it's not like riot bothers picking reasonable times for other regions when they host halfway across the world

making sure the region the tournament is in has the best viewing experience should be their priority imo
