Honestly, you're right. But tbh, you shouldn't give up on recommending it. One of my friends was deadset on not watching it, and 6 months later he messaged me saying he binged the whole show. Just let people know it's peak, and they'll grasp for it eventually!

its deserved, the ending is mid, lazy work from such great piece of art, the drawning, soundtrack, character development are great and that plot of mikasa killing him to put them as heroes is weak af, yeah i would be happy if eren wouldve slaughtered everyone

I feel like that type of ending would've fit the series perfectly

the one they went with wasn't 'bad' but it was boring to me, i think mid does describe it well imo

plus i feel like they skimmed over details towards the end (maybe it was in the manga, but i didnt read it so lmk if you have)
for example they never explained why tf the worm thing was sitting in some random ass tree, where its powers came from etc
