No, this is not the reason why Indian & SA esports will always be shit. VLT were 11-2 up and they were just sending it for a few rounds and it stopped after that one. Teams do this all the time when they're leading (and sometimes even when they're not) otherwise there would never be any 1v5s at the highest level. Stop using this excuse to shit on Indian esports, there are other, more legit reasons. Just enjoy the fkn clip bro.

sweetheart the claim is the whole scene got people who think they got big dicks who always think I can peek and kill everything. Not only throwing 5v1. There are so many more rounds, not just this game, but the entire tournament, where the winning team has thrown horrendously.
there's a very famous clip on reddit where Furia throw 1v3 one by one even after calling each other to peek together lol . Also VLT could play this better but it was more of Azys brilliance they wanted Damaara to get ace so first fight so he can go around and kill Azys but Azys had presence of mind to take out shorty and take down damaara before he could take him down. then VLT was preparing a double swing Azys anticipated and peeked himself to take one and dash to other side where he immediately had presence of mind to jett smoke himself to prevent main guy from killing him. Threw another smoke to distract Russ and peeked out from his smoke at the same time(at this point I have no idea what Russ was trying to do and why Madelyn was hiding in main) and took clean headshot and immediately adjusted to main predicting the peek , Madelyn now gave the most obvious peek instead of waiting and was instantly deleted too. You can see the util usage and positioning from Azys was perfectly auto piloting without a thought which allowed him to do that.
The reason is that everyone is an ego merchant. All the egos for a whole region to have not even qualified for any international event even once.
So you look at a clip where everyone's going for the kill in a 5v1 and the most logical conclusion you draw from it is that they are all ego merchants? You need to work on your reasoning my bro
there are atleast 50 clips from the whole tournament. not just this one. nothing so drastic of this sort. but so many where people lose out just peeking and doing dumb shit

Tbh he actually played that quite well too. Also even edg have been 1v5ed before in past. Most recent one was literally in Bangkok where in split they lost a 5v1 to Sylvan when they had huge lead.
Also Majority of 1vX clutches even in tier 1 are generally cause of mistakes from opponent
and they learned from it and went to become champions. We've seen shit like this from when valorant came out and nobody learns anything from it.
They'll be shit as long as we don't give it time there's individuals who can play in t1 for sure but not teams and even then there's more appealing options to most like look at dos9 he was here last year got onto boom and is still performing just give it time
