He will replace Semyon "purp0" Borchev, who was moved to the bench. Karel "Flickless" Maeckelbergh and Hanceriuc "ara" Eduard-George will also remain with the team after joining towards the end of Stage 1.

grubinho made his VCT EMEA debut with KOI KOI Inactive at the beginning of 2024. While KOI had a poor season, finishing at the bottom of the regional standings with a 3-7 record, grubinho had a particularly impressive individual performance in Stage 2, ranking second in rating and K:D with a 1.22 rating and 1.29 K:D on Controller. He has since been unable to replicate this performance in 2025, with KOI going 1-4 in Stage 1 and grubinho struggling statistically.

This season has not been kind to GIANTX.
