hes got a major ego issue man we knew this back from TL. its literally the reason he was dropped from VIT bcos they had different ways of playing. if you want to accept that trexx did you also need to that sayf does too.

cyvoph for the future is really good and sayonara for next season would solve the initiator problem they have. sayf igling just doesnt work tho so might look into getting someone else that can call better

its still a valid narrative even if they still aren't performing because HE WAS AN ISSUE, but they also have other issues. If I have 5 issues and I take away 1 do I still not have other issues?

u had one issue in trexx being toxic and benching him created more issues such as role issues, lack of a mid rounder and sayf having to fill his boots.

u didnt start by having 5 issues but you started by having 1.

you're ignoring the fact that benching trexx still caused more issues than they had before lol. kicks can mid round sure but it was clearly working better with trexx.

sayf doesnt know how to play initiator and they are obv struggling with their comps cuz they lost a flexible player in trexx.

again benching trexx caused more issues for the team resulting in them playing bad. they may have got rid of 1 issue but benching trexx spiraled into more issues.

im not against VIT benching trexx. im against the narrative that trexx "performative" vise was the problem

Do delusional to believe their decline was all because of the Trexx replacement. He wax solid but their issues lie elsewhere, it just took a while for their lack of strategic depth to be exposed.

If I were trexx, I would be fuming about being dropped mid season. The rest of my year would be ruined. But it seems that trexx has some character issues. This explains why leo made it onto fnatic and sayf onto TL while trexx was left with koi. Clearly the rumours travelled fast from his guild days. And then him "leaving" koi when he was arguably the only good thing on that roster just to join vitality and now he's kicked from vitality, it seems he was unable to fix character issues and mental issues in game and outside of it. This is also probably why no other emea team has picked trexx up yet. However, he is definitely a better fit performance and role wise for vitality and arguably still better skill wise than cyvoph. My issue is, if derke was truly unhappy with trexx from the start, then this roster was doomed to fail. Vitality should have either worked it out between derke and trexx beforehand or just dropped trexx if derke felt so strongly about trexx in the way he did. It would have been better for trexx, the vitality roster and derke specifically too. And at least the roster would have had a better chance of succeeding with a different 5th who fit the roles and brought good vibes if trexx's personality was going to be such a point of contention for derke. But this is all just in hindsight of course. Anyways, maybe this drama will keep us entertained till Toronto..I have my popcorn ready.

also very evidently sayf also had issues. the reason he got dropped from VIT was bcos of a direct disagreement with the way they wanted to play, sayf and trexx had different ideas, obviously they went with their IGL but you have to acknowledge from an outsider POV sayf still has ego issues. he also didnt get any offers bcos of many different reasons. stated by the fact he was taking a break for the rest of the split so he wasnt open to offers. he was still on the VIT roster by contract then means a big buyout, teams dont wanna pay that. theyll just wait for next year.

yeah thats what i meant cos like for this one it just seems unreasonable to buy him out rn hence why its not come out that hes had offers. kinda has nothing to do with the ego problems when hes not even actively looking. we will see in split 2 if he gets the offers. cos atleast now ppl will be wanting to improve bcos if theyre not in playoffs or bombed out theyll want to see who they can change

Ok thanks for clarifying this. I was missing the extra context as to why trexx wasn't on a new team by now. But apart from that, I think all the points I made were valid. I guess putting 3 or 4 players who are known for being strong headed or stubborn on the same roster was not a good idea in hindsight... I do distinctly remember discussing this with other users back in October and December 2024 when the full vitality roster was announced.
