Sentinels Sentinels North America Rank #11 Reduxx Yassin Aboulalazm OXY Francis Hoang johnqt Mohamed Amine Ouarid cortezia Gabriel Cortez has made arguably the signing of the offseason so far in VCT Americas, picking up former Cloud9 Cloud9 North America Rank #13 FireBallOps Cameron Tomaselli GLYPH Conner Garcia Duelist Francis "OXY" Hoang.

This past year, OXY wrapped up a third season with Cloud9. In that time, he has consistently put up numbers as one of the most lethal Duelists in Americas, albeit without the results to show for it. Since the beginning of the partnership era, Cloud9 is in rather exclusive company as one of the handful of partnered teams from 2023-2026 to have never made an international event. In VCT Americas, a fourth-place finish in Stage 2 last year is C9's best-ever placement.

OXY has been in Valorant since 2021, competing for a handful of orgs before joining Cloud9. Sentinels will be looking for an all-out pivot after a disappointing 2026 season, and OXY may very well be the player to bring that change. The team, after reaching five international events over two seasons from 2024-25, missed out on the international stage entirely in 2026, and by a wide margin. 9th-10th finishes in Americas Kickoff and Stage 1 were the team's highest finishes this year, with the team bowing out of a 16-team Stage 2 in 11th-12th.

With their partnership status secured for the next phase of VCT, Sentinels have snapped up one of the most high-profile players from teams that missed out on partnership. OXY arrives as the first piece of the Sentinels offseason rebuild. In the past few days, the team has parted ways with JonahP and Jerrwin , who were in their first years in SEN city, leaving in-game leader johnqt , Cubert Academy Cubert Academy Inactive zander Alexander Dituri stand-in nightz Christian Smith product Reduxx , and cortezia as the only remaining players on the roster. As things stand, Sentinels have just one open roster spot.
