a lot of teams don't like vyse in a lot of spots, we've been seeing a good amount of Cypher KJ even outside their obvious strength spots as questionable choices still.

Imo Deadlock is best Sentinel on Split and Lotus but I understand a lot of teams prefer Viper.

My hot take is solo Senti Deadlock so you can win both halves on Ascent, but it's pretty untested. Basically the BBL comp but SLIGHTLY LESS troll

thats true. only issue is having to then have atleast 1 person mid to maintain it on def. and kayo sova does really well on ascent so the tejo stuff isnt needed as much

And as for Tejo, the problem is that neither has a Scan or Flashes. That's a lot of sacrificed slots for no util checkboxed.

You pretty much have to sacrifice info or 2nd Senti.

People are unwilling to learn new agents unless they are completely broken and is proven to be completely broken. Deadlock is broken imo however main reason why she’s not being used that often a lot of teams aren’t comfortable with double senti which is a must have for deadlock and there’s not enough teams destroying because of the deadlock.

the only reason why you would use deadlock is if you're playing double senti-of which only vyse deadlock is even remotely viable. vyse and cypher both wildly outclass her in info, anchoring, and individual value. only thing deadlock has going for her over them massively is the net but even then vyse vines work just as well in a majority of scenarios at the moment

the buff came to late... teams had prepped stuff and if they switched to deadlock, all the earlier pracc time will have being wasted and they will have less time to get used to the new comp... now post tejo we should see more deadlock and more double senti stuff

gravnet being dodgeable (by timing your jump) makes it so much worse IMO.
