what r yalls most controversial opinions in each orgs
If SEN signed the rest of XSET and not pANcada and Sacy they would've had a way better year
I still love Sacy to death tho thank you my bald king <3
He mainly carried cause of chamber meta ngl plus im pretty sure he was always gonna join 100 Thieves seeing its a massive org
Plus seeing how fexible everyone is on this theoretical roster this could allow TenZ to pick up initiator and controller way before 2024
TenZ- Duelist, Initiator and Controller
zekken- Duelist and initiator
BcJ- Initiator and Controller
dephh- Initiator, controller and sentinel
AYRIN- Controller and sentinel
Everyone on this team can play atleast 2-3 roles which is perfect for the 2023 and 2024 meta
And most likely they would run this team comp most of time for most maps
TenZ- Controller
zekken- Duelist
BcJ- Initiator
dephh- Initiator
AYRIN- Sentinel/Controller
Bad take, three of these guys absolutely suck
XSET only did well in 2022 because the meta allowed players like cryo to carry their teams. Not to mention how weak overall competition was in NA
I don't think they suck XSET allowed their strengths to show for example, XSET used a dual IGL system dephh for attack and AYRIN for defence there are a load of advantages to this. One is the pressure is separated evenly instead of just being on one person which allows these 2 to shine. Second is it allows one of them to focus on fragging and gaining confidence before they swap this will allow, them to continue to play well while IGLing cause of the confidence and momentum. Third is everyone on XSET had a system plus insanely good chemistry all they would have to do was incorporate TenZ and kaplan into the system which would not have took very long plus roles wouldn't be issue like my previous comment explained and another major one would be no language issues which is another thing.
even tho 3 of them aren't the best mechanically the system allowed them to shine in a lot of moments and pop off in a lot of rounds and allowed them to support zekken and Cryocells, to their fullest extent and this would've been continued on SEN cause its practically the same team but they have TenZ instead and one extra coach.
GE are two signings away from being an actual good team. One being a reliable duelist and two a coach. You don't need an all star squad in all five positions and Udo and Kr1stal are already doing good. They literally need a coach who doesn't overcook and miss basics of valorant like, "you need a flash against double controller" and a duelist who can win duels, most duels.
Tbf the no flash comp is definitely because of comfort and not because they actually wanted to run it. Elevated is very big on Yoru.
They probably do need a new second coach though
I do understand it, but at that point play Patrick or tweak the comp around Deryeon. It was just so infuriating watching that game.
agree, but some of the problems with GE are partly to do with Juv3nile being a mainly macro focussed coach and elevated being a mainly micro focussed coach, so they just need someone who understands and knows what they should be doing for the overall gameplan.
if nrg picked up yay in 2023 instead of ardiis they would have been much worse (and ardiis wasn't the problem)
You mean if Optic team just rebranded to nrg They would've been worse than picking up Ardiis? Yeah thats cap, considering they just left champs finals and had an amazing competitive year. They probably wouldn't have been #1 but they'd still have their team synergy which was shattered as soon as Ardiis filled yays role
There's a lot of t2 players that could be in t1 over the people we got it's just that people only look at stats and highlights so most don't get in this is why regions like Japan suck ass in t1 imo also this is why emea has no new igls a lot the time because fuck you mean we have no igls teams clearly exist
franchise ruined the scene cuz instead of picking t2 talents instead teams recycle old t1 material
2023 100t with will would have been leagues above the 2023 iteration of 100t with cryo
if XSET got franchised and stayed together and signed better players they would have been a dynasty
Riot's focus on Asia will ruin EU And NA so bad that we might see an NA revival in CS, dropping val in the popularity there, and perhaps even killing off the game in europe. Val didn't expand into Scandinavia, doesn't give a fuck about CIS
you know exactly why RIOT pulled out of CIS. the scandinavia shit's pretty braindead though with how tier 2 is organized over there atm
china still doesnt deserve as many regional slots at internationals. the team that won the last international should earn an extra spot for their region. internationals in general should allow for more teams (8 12 16 is honestly too less)
TH will not make an international grand final this year
vitality is overrated - even before the last 2 losses
jonahP needs to be dropped
chinese teams do benefit greatly from getting reps against stronger teams at international events and that alone warrants the region getting as many intl slots as it does
if sacy and pancada had stayed in loud, they would've won lock/in, americas, and champions 2023
loud would never throw that lotus to PRX if they had sacy and pancada, they would've vanished the upper bracket
Hear hear, the true final was EG vs Loud and eg only won by a very slim margin
Tuyz is mid, Cauanzin had a great tournament but was throwing hard in those last few matches. Although their real issue was the rift that formed between aspas/frod and less/saadhak, that spoiled bitch less said in an interview that he got tilted after the PRX game because the team wouldn't listen to his calls so he pretty much stopped comming, which is crazy considering he had been the team's second caller for the entire year
