We are now nearly 1.5 years away from riot reselecting franchised teams as all contracts run out end of 2026. Which teams should riot remove and which teams should be added?

Fixed teams: 6
Ascension teams: 6
Remove: Giants, Navi, Fut, BBL, KOI
Keep: FNC, Vitality, Liquid, KC, Heretics, GM8 (Orgs have money or big fanbase)
With 6 teams able to ascend due to riots discussed changes. Franchised spots are not as important anymore. Teams can survive easy. Closer to CS2 circuit
I'm pretty sure they cant remove NaVi.They are one of the biggest e sports organization in all fps history.
Both BBL and KOI are top 5 in terms of bundle sales and riot has praised both teams for their success in bundle sales so I don’t think riot wants to remove two teams making them good profits
Thing is. Its only 6 partners. It will be very easy to qualify through ascension. Not being partnered doesnt mean they are not in T1

anything more that 2 ascension is great.. but the question is for how many years?? change teams yearly like current rules or longer than that?
it will be yearly promotion/relegation based system i assume. Ascension would become a up/down tournament essentially
personally I'd like to see them remove C9 if they keep fucking around with rosters
CHINA: no clue I watch CHINA and love china but dont know much about the orgs
- Australian org though to get OCE rep and CHINA is the best region for that

basicly for emea i would like to see riot bring in loke an dutch team or like swedish or norwegian or at least from scandinavia just that we have more diffrent in the countries teams are comming from

All Gamers: This team is so absolute trash and always has been
Tyloo: Maybe remove them, but they might be able to build around slowly and start performing

EG: Hasn't been good since they won champs and don't have the money to obtain any talented players.
Furia: Self explanatory
EMEA:
KOI: Sadly have been pretty bad even though some of the players are really talented
GX: Don't know what to say, but they haven't been good since 2023
PAC:
TS: Always disappoint you even when you thought you couldn't be disappointed by them anymore.
DFM: Have history of being bad, and recently even though they looked decent seemed to have regressed back to being bad.
