Emea is the worst region atm. It’s the least competitive and it has been like this for so long. They rely on superteams to win. Did manage to find success w fnatic but it’s been downhill since.

Asia is rolling everyone over and probably will for like 2-3 years until some absolute wonderkid from the west pops up
Region monopoly is never entertaining. I hope the west picks up their game so it’s still competitive n viewership doesn’t drop
G2 just needs to play more Deadlock and T1 should choke in order for that to happen
I mean not really, its more a group of 4 or 5 teams who are just clearly better than the rest and no one can really compete with them.
Eh this is completely ignoring the fact that TH ended up second in shanghai and seoul and they were be no means a super team. EMEA looked better than NA for two thirds of 2024
TH had a fluke run still couldn’t win anything. The same roster is not even top 3 in their region anymore

That's just a testament to how bad EMEA has been though, like Heretics this year has not performed at nearly as high of a level as last year and somehow they placed 3rd.
they faced gentlemates and bbl with a sub. they are not one of the top 3 best teams in emea
nah its still china. edg is still has a huge monopoly in that region. tho give it 2-3 years and memea will be the worst.

Idk, it's hard for me to compare regions without h2h matchups. But based on Bangkok, all the regions' top teams are pretty even.

maybe but i said specifically that the top teams in particular were even. it's harder for me to gauge the rest.
they were pretty good in groups. i think in playoffs trexx and sayf had different philosophical views on how the game should be played which caused them to play poorly against t1.
also i thought tl was pretty solid in bangkok as well.
if you only count the top tier teams who can win a tournament i agree. But the general level of emea is about equal to the average of the other regions. Like liquid were better than sen at bangkok
I think if you ranked all teams in 4 regions you’d have to put almost all of emea in top 30. as a region its the most competitive because any team can beat any other team. Except for apeks of course. Other regions have at least 3 teams that everyone knows aren’t very good at the moment
Im sorry but the bottom 6 in EMEA play some truly awful valorant and would get rolled by everyone in APAC and Americas except secret/zeta/2g/furia
