how popular is the game in germany tho? like honestly, they should move the studio somewhere where people would come, move it to france for example, Kcorp and GM8 fans would fill the arena
The game is kinda popular but vct really isnt. Went to a regular season game in 2023 and it was fairly empty and quiet, even tho it was fnc vs vitality lol.
If they wanted fans in the arena they wouldn't have put it in Berlin and then not given slots to German teams. And even less put it on a weekday
It's not a ticket price issue. Fans have to travel to a different country on regular working day
its so wack they don't want to have a crowd on Wednesday what is even the point
They were already in Berlin and have been for a very long time now honestly the real solution is putting a German org in franchising I don't mind sacrificing one of the Spanish orgs they won't even use their good players and sign scraps besides heretics they can stay just choose out of gx and KOI and replace them with a German org
I mean yeah thats a big issue to begin with. Baffling how some of these teams made franchising over an org like mouz that is clearly interested in valorant

I think it appeals to everyone in some way and I think having 6 teams that have to qualify every year sounds cool (maybe top 2 stay and other 4 qualify) it gets rid of the shit orgs that stay shit like koi and furia
Think this is fine and yeah mouz are the biggest org germany has to offer pretty much. Best to have one team per major region to represent. Having a smaller amount of orgs also fixes a big issue emea has because it allows strong players to be more concentrated in the franchised teams. Feels like so many bad teams in europe just have one or two insane players that they hold hostage and tank their career
Also it gets rid of the shit teams of they suck so they can go elsewhere I feel like I've heard this being leaked somewhere and I think it's a great idea that solves a lot of problems at once
For VCT they were between Berlín and Barcelona but they went for Berlín (mainly) bcs of the political situation in Spain :(
Something people haven't mentioned yet is that he's playing probably the most boring game of the day so I guess that impacts viewership let's be honest vit gx can be skipped so easily you know the result
