cs superior game i think, thoughts?
cs2 is genuinely awful i was a diehard "csgo is 10000x better than valorant" type and now i literally never play cs unless a friend asks me to, they ruined everything i loved about csgo
Depends. I played CS before Val, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, I had way more fun playing Val solo queue than CS solo queue. Val had a lot better anti-cheat system in its prime, before this past year obviously. Having to play a 3rd party ranked system because the CS rank system was terrible, was not a highlight. I will say, CS tournaments have a lot more hype going into them then Valorant tournaments do. I wish the crowds were more active, and larger fs. CSGO is still one of my favorite games ever, and I play CS2 ever now and then, but something about 21'-23' Valorant was just so special that IDK if it can be beat. Val is 100% better than CS2 though.
ehhh maybe. The process was more tedious though in my opinion, and more cheaters in faceit fs
faceit does not have more cheaters lmao
I've played like 250 faceit games and am yet to encounter one
Back when I used to play before val and even during val in 2020, Faceit def had more cheaters than Valorant. Also, you said you prefer CS2 over valorant, which makes me think you have something against val, as most cs players ik would tell you that CS2 sucks and no one really likes it
Faceit does not have more cheaters than Valorant
Valorant's own people admitted that 1 in 10 Brazil mm games had cheaters in them as recent as this january
Faceit has never been like that. I'm assuming you're just bad at the game and assume better players are cheating
ahem "before this past year obviously"
also, no I am not bad at the game. But I do appreciate you glazing CS2, on VLR none the less...
there are dozens on community notes on steam talking about cheating especially in 23' and even a statement from FACEIT talking about how they fixed it. I'm not saying FACEIT has a terrible anti-cheat, but to say they have no cheaters is just not true
I'm not even glazing I just enjoy the game lol
I also didn't say that Faceit has no cheaters, just that it is a better anticheat than vanguard
cheater shit losers have to cope so hard lmfao. We know that you guys start frothing at your mouths at the sight of Vanguard, so you have to use the same dumbass spyware excuse to cope with the fact that your game will never be cheater free.
Also, the whole Botzil thing was Riot literally flexing their anti cheat. How are you so braindead to not realize that? They literally said that more cheaters were getting banned because of a new method of cheat, that they fixed so everything went back to normal. They have even said that those who faced cheaters will get their RR back.
Can't expect braincells from a Calorie9 fan.
Faceit players do not “froth at the mouth” with a game having 10% cheaters lmao
Faceit Anticheat > Vanguard >>>> VAC
Valorant's own people admitted that 1 in 10 Brazil mm games had cheaters in them as recent as this january
that was december only because there was a severe spike on cheating cases. and that was due to the anticheat division on riot going on holidays. it was already fixed and theres much less cheaters now
Let's compare more objectively, I'm tired of all this "he said she said"
https://x.com/deteccphilippe/status/1883945555102957617
Faceit's highest amount of cheaters ever is around 1.2%, Valorant averages around 2.5% per region, even if we ignore the time when 1 in 10 games had cheaters.
Faceit anticheat is better than Vanguard. And it has to be, if it wasn't an industry leading anticheat, there'd be no point in playing faceit
Am I stupid or is this the percent of cheaters caught? Isn’t this detection bias, we should assume there should be a similar level of cheaters in both games and the anti cheat that is performing better would indicate that it’s doing a better job?
both are percentages of game impacted by a cheater.
If either anticheat had a hidden cheater epidemic, it would probably be valorant, as it’s a lot easier to avoid detection due to a much larger playerbase and lack of a demo system
That being said, as it’s our only objective comparison, and both games have a very high detection rate, I’m inclined to just trust both dev’s numbers.
Csgo > cs2 whatever they did to cs2 it feel sluggish
Csgo was so fluid and better than val optimization but too much hackers which ruined the fun
I like CS2 more personally
the gunplay, movement, and map design is just a level above imo
personal preference. want a simple and pure skill game, play cs. Want a ability shooter with unique interactions but has a bit of bs mechanics and abilityies to it, play val. Both of them are equally good and shit at the same time. me personally, concord takes the dub here
Felt like I had more of an impact in games individually compared to valorant, feels like its just a gamble and so much more rng shit I have to be worried about, cs2 is some hot ass though so they are equal rn
Cheaters in CS2 making playing the game unbearable if its not faceit, Valo is more dynamic but remove the cheaters i'd say its neck and neck. I grew up playing CS and have a shit ton of hours on Valo.
CSGO was much better than CS2. I never liked CS2 and still don't. CSGO>Valorant>CS2
Since my first FPS is Val so I enjoyed it more but I would say when I tried Csgo it was quite good compared to cs2 which makes it feels like garbage for some reason i was barely able to play cs2 because how much lag it caused in between for my 4 year old lap and yeah csgo runned much better compared to cs2
CS2 and Valorant both have incredibly high potential to be unequivocally better than the other, but they both refuse to implement heavily requested mechanics and systems by players that would make the games better.
In terms of esports, CS2 events feel more fun to watch (and especially be at) for me, but I care a lot more about the players and teams in Valorant, and the regional diversity makes storylines much more engaging imo.
Imo CS2 is easier to watch than Val, and I also think it's more impressive watching coordinated nades than it is to watch the same happen in Val (most of the time).
Main thing that has CS2 had going for it in terms of competition is volume of tournaments, and far more top tier teams that fade in and out as times goes by. Val has constantly changing metas, the same number of teams, with players changing in the off season.
Cs2 = consistent meta(s), and wide variety of teams
Val = a variety of metas, but a limited amount of teams.
ashame cs2 base game is unplayable because of cheaters and annoying russians
Valo has more monthly players tho lol
also Valo champs had 9.1 Million viewers at one time
nt tho
where are these stats coming from tho, many sites say 5m+ so I'm confused
cS vS vAl?
Cs SuPeRiOr GaMe I tHiNk, tHoUgHtS?
who gives a shit, just play the game you like
CSGO > Val > CS2
I played Val before playing CS:GO but that game was just so fun to play and the game felt incredible. CS2 is a load of shite.
and Val is just Val.
i like valo more, but competitive cs > valo, skill and prizepool, its like 30kk vs 3 only this season, crazy how riot dont give a fuck about it. like 5 month for offseason is beyond and above
Well CS players are best in mechanics though ngl, but valorant is more strategic.
CS pros can easily diff valo pros in gun game but in actual valorant environment valo pros are best
It's like comparing raw mango and ripe mango
I've tried CS2 so many times and tried to love it, but it's such a shit game. Movement is awful, you feel like you’re gliding, bullets don't go where you want them to, spraying is rewarded over accuracy, etc...
