Two 4th seeds, DRX And Made In Brazil what a incredible run from them. Zero to Hero of some point.
Pulled out miracle, DRX beated G2 and PRX?....Unbelievable.
Made In Brazil, I'm sure nobody expects them to be in this far, even though DRX still has a chance. But Made In Brazil absolutely shit on Stage 2, like so shit. Even though now is on top of the shit. That's toilet. But still miracle.
5th/6th Place for Made In Brazil.
And I guess TALON 12-9 that day is a 3rd place here for DRX
And NRG I'm speechless.
NRG are your valorant world champion.With no single lose.

Not a popular opinion but EDG winning champs might be the biggest upset/ surprise ever
GENG on the other hand eh not so much they were clearly very good in kickoff, madrid, and stage 1

For me, trace is more surprising me makes it to playoffs by beating 1st place america and emea 2nd place
Ykr edg is unstoppable now since China league stage 2
but fair enough edg still surprised us to win champion 2024

Nah that's revisionism. We expected them to finish 2nd below DRX in that group... That group has ASE and FUT, iirc.

But them finishing 2nd is certainly a surprise. Everyone expected Loud and DRX to be the competition to Fnatic. Idk if it's bigger than PRX finishing 3rd with a content creator though. Especially as the tourney goes on we realized EG is insanely good and the other good teams crumbled. PRX meanwhile is pretty much an underdog in all their matches. Facing DRX , Peak Kang Kang EDG, Fnatic, NRG and EG with cgrs

Loud 2022 was not an upset they got last place at Copenhagen but they only really had 1 loss that was proof of somewhat bad form against krü since the other match was just a rematch of the most recent grand final they always been good xset was a far bigger upset
