G2 could probably go further internationally if they have a superstar duelist like a Demon1/t3xture. icy improves every match but should they really keep relying that he becomes a superstar in time?

They dont need one. If they wanted a hard carry, they would've kept Leaf on duelist and he could've become one
demon1 would honestly be detrimental to g2 imo. icy is willing to toss himself out there to make space for the team and get traded, and g2 are finding success with that. that's not really demon1's playstyle
Icy’s role isnt to be a star fragger, its to be a flexible duelist that can play any of them and help take space
better to say instead of someone like demon1, it'd be more of a jawgemo type duelist who can just entry, get 1 and be traded

Demon1 would absolutely not make this roster any better, he has a very selfish playstyle and is not a space maker, we saw NRG try to use him as 1 and we saw what happened
