deservedly so. He popularized a whole nother way of playing the game, and is still very consistent despite being antistratted by teams
the game was always going to reach this point, he was just better at it at the time than the others. this is the equivalent of saying tenz popularized shooting heads.
Shooting heads is a dedicated purpose of the game, lurking isn't. This "the game was always going to reach this point" argument can be used for literally everything. Someone was bound to discover the theory of relativity eventually, that doesn't mean we don't credit Einstein for it.
I feel like in terms of impact on how the game is played as a whole, nobody comes close really. Yay's chamber was very impactful, but it relied too much on the agent to have longevity. And nAts performed very consistently at top level for a longer time.
