Well the last tome EG themselves faced DRX, DRX got stomped

well last time NRG played a LAN they made it out of groups
now...
last champs Optic beat LOUD in groups, then got stomped 2-0 (26-13) and 3-1 in upper and grand finals. XSET also beat FPX in quarters and got knocked out in the lower bracket rematch. the exact same LOUD lost to FNC a few months ago and recently just stomped the shit out of the map they were previously 13-1 on, rematches seem to favor losers more often than not (though that could be confirmation bias)

DRX look solid but I don't know enough about the pacific league to rate their raw fire power I think EG wins 2-1 but it's close. I might be underrating DRX though 🤷
If EG lose this, it'll be done. Their LB will be against FNC and that'll be a nail in the coffin.
DRX this might be the first time since early last year where I believe in you to make it to the upper finals. GO DRX!!
DRX 2-0 EG . DRX is constantly underestimated in this event. They beat both LOUD and NaVi in the group of death, cleared BLG, the ones who took down NRG twice with 4-0 map count. EG played 2 Chinese teams (FPX arguably one of the worst teams in Champions, and EDG in a good, but close match) and FUT, arguably the worst EMEA team in Champions.
Exactly people only care how far a team has gotten without caring how they got their far. EG had the easiest groups and playoff bracket. They avoided Loud, FNC, Navi and till now DRX. Only competitive match they had was EDG and let's be real they are good but not top 3 level of good.
DRX takes this. They used to be a team that went off for playoffs because they didn't know how to adapt in-game. That's not the case anymore, against Loud and Navi they really had to change everything on the fly and won the whole thing

Nah, PRX has what it takes to beat EG. Fast paced rounds is where EG loses. Look at their game against EDG. In first map EDG were bullying their way in site and winning then they slowed their pace for some reason.
Fnatic are so lucky man they get to play Fut (a team from the worst region) and now they get to play a shaken DRX. (I actually think all the regions are close, I'm just trying to be as much of a delusional hater as DarkSoul)
