So true, if cNed and starxo doesnt roll in early rounds then zeek and bonecold(dunno about kiles) gotta step up till the two find their A-game. if not then smb will definitely stomp them for sure, the turks squad got some aim too. Ascend's first map bind against gmb you can see cned struggling in sage, i think he was 2-7 in first half? bot frag. But bonecold and starxo covered and make space till cned get comfortable.

Been blown away by SMB this tournament. Their defaults and fundamentals look airtight and they are further advantaged by none of the EU teams having practice against their style.
With that said it feel impossible to bet against Acend right now, at least within EMEA. While they haven't looked perfect from a strategic pespective, cNed, Zeek and Starxo just deliver this team rounds with outrageous consistency and their mid-rounding is wonderful.
Easily a game that can go either way, no one should be underestimating SMB at this point.
With this win streak i think Acend is very confident. But anything can happen.

Ye you are right about split ban but smb ban is always breeze. And cned play sage on bind that means he uses op not as much as he plays on jett. Paura ( smb igl) said they dont want to play against teams that have good op player. Thats why i think acend will pick haven to use cned on operator.
Yo man so I'm from the future and hate to break it to you but you just got shut down by Acend. I think they read your comment and decided to show you that you are actually the one who doesn't know anything about the teams. They indeed did play Split,Bind and Haven even though it wasn't in the right order.
Smb will probably ban Breeze if they didn't prepare sth unusual. If they did so, they could ban Bind. Cned is not playing jett and op that much in Bind, that's true. However, Acend is not losing in Bind since April and they lost the Fnatic last time with 14-12. So their bind is pretty strong. Acend may ban either split or Ascent. They've lost matches in Ascent two in a row and Split is neither the map they like nor the map they play most. Overall, Acend will try to keep Bind, Icebox and Breeze in the map list because they have an insane win streak in them. I think Haven is a fair map for both teams. No one will ban it. My predictions are

In that case, if they go to the 3 map, Acend has more chance of winning imo
Suppmassiveblaze is really unpredictable team, Acend should thoroughly prepare to a game, even if they have game changing cNed.
I think we'll encounter close scores and maps. SMB played the entire tournament with considerably fewer mistakes compared to other teams. It will be a tough match for both teams. The team with the most players that feel motivated and have a solid aim that day will win the match I think. Of course, map picks will have an impact on the result but I don't think we'll see sth unusual in that part.

Smb will definitely win on a map(if acend bans split, smb will win ascent im sure) and they can pose great dangers in the other 2 maps. It wouldn't be a good move if acend chose bind. cned isn't playing jett there, bonecold may have given extra performance against gambit but I don't think he will play the same against smb.
I say 2-0 or 2-1 smb depending on the map selections.
If Acend win this, they've basically proven they can beat every team, that has qualified in this tournament.

TBH this match feels alot diffrent then the previous EMEA matches so far its more of good quality of skills bolth team's are playing very carefull and makes verry little mistakes.
SMB actually made a ton of mistakes. They would win if they hadn't played this much agressive.
We're now forced to play this game on 70-80 ping because they still can't fix the servers, been like that for the past 3 days. So that's fun.
(It's not an excuse, it's just far from ideal)

Zombs has great aim bro, hes just not as good as his other aim gods on sentinels. He's super useful and a great player. On SMB he would be just as good as anyone if not better.
Even the best sixth turkish player can't beat SMB. Acend is no longer the best EU team, they barely the top 5 :D

I think it would be a stretch to claim smb is definitely better than acend after this game, but I think this has proven that acend and smb are the twin hopes of emea at Berlin
I don't really have faith in any other teams to beat sentinels but i do have faith in these two teams
