PRX

So let’s say PRX stays together for 2023. I was reading that teams that are franchised get 600k just for being there. Also teams that win Ascension events and get a slot at International (franchised) Leagues for 2 years. Does that also mean they get the 600k?? (Basically if PRX gets a slot they don’t have to worry about funding)

Edit: realize PRX core is not staying together, but I’m still curious about the 600k jackpot for International League promotions

you're smoking crack if you think f0rsaken will stay in a org that plays in a pc store.

well rip, still curios though

Do teams that make international leagues get the 600k stipend? Could mean a lot for orgs not financially stable

He is proving how APAC can be a region that competes at the level of EMEA and you want him to leave. If its his choice and better for his career all good. But Franchising is levelling the playing field here. There are little benefits to leave his region anymore.

GE can pay 10x of what PRX does to the current rooster
most likely the team breaks up and they play in NA/EMEA

really? Ben has said PRX pays them well and their salary was in the range of 3k-5k USD . It might've increased more idk . But point is SG orgs pay their players good money .

He is not saying that PRX pays them below wage or anything, what he is trying to say is that GE can pay more than PRX does which might be true (PUBG Mobile money from India is huge) and when compared to purchasing power capacity, GE does pay their players much more than PRX does + a proper BootCamp and other facilities (PRX has 1 room in a PC store).

Dude, to pay a player an average salary of franchised team which is probably gonna be like 10k but let's say it's 6 you need to actually pay 8 because of taxes. 8 by 6(players and coach ) it's 48, by 12 goes up to basically those 600k for a shitty salary.

Now imagine the average is 15k in NA which is not that rare

the 600k is just not being gifted, it is there so that riot will ensure that the org promotes the game through their content, invest in academy teams and gc lineups.

if you watched jinggg's stream, he always said there's a big chance that he will continue his pro career in 2023 because he's starting his NS in 2024. Idk much about benkai tho but I really hope all 5 of them are staying together in franchising atleast until jinggg going to NS

the org gets the 600k and they divide it among the players as their contacts dictate.
