imo its KOREA. DRX; theyve been the most overrated. every tournament since m3 theres always a huge amount of people saying "DRX is gonna win their teamwork and strats are unbeatable" and get proven wrong every time

Can I ask how FPX is overrated, since I've seen this same narrative quite a lot for some unknown reason? They won last stage of EMEA and have been second best so far in stage 2 of EMEA.

They lost a close 2-1 vs Gambit, who would win the tournament without dropping a single map in playoffs, except for that match.
DRX as a team can compete with any team from EU or NA , Still Korea as a region is nowhere near NA or EU.

you can win multiple rounds by 1 hp, or with 0.01 seconds, or with just 1 man. Valorant is a largely momentum based game, one lucky round after another and the scoreline suggests domination. In reality, it's a lot closer than people expect. It's almost a fallacy to judge a team off of their scorelines instead of how they actually play the game. 100T vs The Guard is a good example of people giving too much smoke after judging the scorelines.

i think it's because drx is good in scrims. that's why everyone says that they're good
viewers don't have access to scrim wins/losses + i mainly heard gambit was doing good in scrims
VS are notable scrim demons. Any pro player/team/coach will say that DRX are the strongest scrim opponents. nAts said it, G2 said it, TL said it, suygetsu said it, PRX said it, Laz said it, the list goes on.

emea. yea they had results 6-8 months ago but now everyone thinks they are great because of teams in the same region beating each other. do i think they are good? of course. but they didn't even make top4 last lan. yea i know fpx wasnt there but they acted like they were gonna dogwalk everyone regardless and that did not happen. i do think they will be better because they have something to prove.
I also believe it's korea but not because DRX is overrated (DRX is really good). It's becasue only DRX (and maybe on sla2ers) are considered t1 in korea. I would say the same with Japan too but I don't see many people overrating Japan. M2 will tell if Japan is really up there with the rest.

Rossi stans praised him like hes better then yay.
Truth is, he got outclassed by jetts from the weakest subregion in asia (HK-TW).
Also south asian teams have a pretty lame record in APAC challengers till now, being able to win a single match each time .
Then went on to lose all 4 maps to the weakest subregion and get 0-13'd by prx.

its been 2+ years now and the team has barely lost to anyone locally
