Did u get all the bindings for p1-4
I’m stuck on doing binding for p3 cause sly is gonna be the death of me
i kinda got distracted after doing all bindings for p1-3, yk to do p5
but i will probably backtrack and do all bindings p4
for sly i usually just wait for him to do the swing swing up roll swing and then whack him a few, maintain distance, let him do the same move, and repeat
for his second phase just stay in the middle and once he comes at you just slightly back off and then jump slash back in his direction (you have to get good at this otherwise with 4 hp its cooked)
Alr alr, I keep feeling like I need to all bindings p3 before giving p5 a true attempt, but at the end of the day it’s just 1 blue mask, I lowkey feel like I could do p4 tho😭ik pure vessel is theoretically harder but I find him much easier than sly
What build did you use for ur p5 run?
shaman stone, quick slash, unbreakable strength, dream wielder, and grubsong
dream wielder lowk slept on, its so nice for failed champion and uumuu, and getting huge chunks of soul randomly
also pure vessel is actually easier than sly imo
once you get PV's patterns down he's a cakewalk but for sly i always struggle with his second phase a little
lowk same thing as ^^ said but a bit extra
for stage 1 wait for his circle thing or the nail arts before hitting, his other shit just annoying lowk
also if u can bait out the downslash, upslash, sawblade/circle just bait it and back away so u can get free chip after he gets out of circle
for stage 2 dont try to chase and just wait until he comes to you, then hit him as he stops midair (before he sawblades) and dash either through him or away then repeat

i did the silksong speedrun achievements and got the 100% but instead of continuing on for the steel soul achievements i wanted to backtrack to HK and get through the DLC content i missed. my god its been so peak getting this and the 112% on steel soul

How big are people expecting sea of sorrow to be? I played hollow knight after all dlcs were out, and they all seem kinda small, which confuses me for the sea of sorrow hype

well people are looking at the early beta map that some people got a hold of and it has a pretty big area
also it seems like they were going to have this in the base game but removed it in order to polish it i think
so its gonna be a pretty decent amount of stuff, prolly around 5 hours mininum of content imo.
lore-wise its gonna be focused more on plasmium/lifeblood which is mysterious overall in both games
i hope its post act 3 stuff but its most likely an act 2/3 area
I would recommend you play hollow knight! It’s a pretty fun game imo, got me back into single player games after Val

i lowk never finished p5 (did 1-4) or hall of gods and j ust went straight to speedrunning and randomizers lmao
i've been getting into doing speedruns in HK (not good enough for silksong yet), just started learning the greenpath fireball skip, fungal e-pogo, and the nail zero watchers fight and man the upgrade-less watchers fight is hard
randos seem cool, i lowk binge this one person skurry who does a lot of HK randos
im ngl the only thing i learned was qga and the fog canyon acid skip (from crossroads) and never learned either greenpath fireballs or epogo lmao. id honestly try to learn those 2 i did because the others save 20s max (hornet fireball is doable with a squit (the green flying fuck), second gp vs is a 10s thing and epogo isnt much faster than mantis safari) because the 2 i learned (qga which is admittedly much harder than the others and fog canyon acid) both save a long time (qga saves about 20-30mins as well as mantis lords iirc and fog canyon acid is i believe the only way into uumuu w/o shade or ismas). practicing watchers is good, its been my run killer a lot. ive only got to 1h10 because im shit at both uumuu and watchers

i forgot the acid skips lol
yeah i can do crossroads acid skip pretty consistently but man qga is hard to do consistently to get into deepnest
