I thought it was only during Tejo meta? Was he complaining about post Tejo or champs meta too?
I love the guy but he complains about everything tbf, although most of it justified in some way

No but the champs meta was perfect and TenZ wasn’t just complaining about tejo util just search up clips of him complaining and you’ll see that you’re wrong
same, It's pretty much just pick smokes or duelist and occasionally someone gives in and picks one of the others
"My team lost, this meta is bad!" I support good Valorant, which up until this series, NRG was playing. I sure loved the meta before this one where teams planted in the last 10 seconds of the round and just stood about waiting for 1:30, really fun!
it isn't the worst meta by a LAND SLIDE its quite fun to watch dont lie just cause ur team lost it more gun fights less util spam if they revert to champions 2026 and do the less util changes slowly its perfect
even if they won this game i’d still have this opinion. while i admit it is fun to watch i think it takes away from some of the strategy part of a tactical shooter. this game is not overwatch.
People saying this is the worst meta obviously didn't watch during tejo or before where it was just off-site post plant simulator. Like this meta is at least enjoyable to watch unlike the snooze fest it has been in the past.
I would rather watch tejo than watch duelists running in mindlessly and it being viable

Like Sliggy said it’s because the champs meta was so good that this meta feels so shit even though compared to some of the past metas it isnt that bad
the only justified complaint was tejo postplant meta that shit was trash to watch as a viewer and i'd imagine playing as a pro player. still don't know why they hard nerfed sentinels

True. Tejo meta was ass but post Tejo champs meta was so fine. It only needed some yoru nerf.
Growing up is realizing double duelist was going to be meta anyways. Mosquito was so dominant and the teams playing it have only gotten better since paris
Yeah I think people forget that T1 with awful coaching beat G2 during peak Tejo meta by playing double duelist...
It was always going to be the future, it's just more dramatic because of the init/senti nerfs that accompanied it

tejo missile, tejo stun, breach stun, tejo missile, breach aftershock. bomb explodes
Throw an ult in there and it’s possible you don’t even have to shoot your gun before the bomb explodes
And people wonder why riot is so afraid of giving him more smokes/walls
