ehhh, idk about DRX tho, the other 2 are understandable, but DRX will face difficulties because their playstyle is easily countered if you study them hard enough, because if you force them into 1v1s i dont see them winning those, they rely on those util plays, so this meta is the exact opposite to their style.

APAC is def very stacked, but i don't see this level of firepower anywhere else, like if you observe the playstyle that GE had, it is very trade heavy, and with everyone in the team having such high firepower, that style means you automatically win most duels, except for maybe 2 or 3 other teams in pacific, so i'd argue they make an international

Mocking a flair is fine. Randomly mocking a whole country during a discussion about Riot isn't the same thing. Context matters.

1. GE actually did sign SA players.
   They had 3 different SA players across multiple iterations, including Russ. None of them performed at the level needed for international competition. That is not “denying opportunity,” that is normal competitive selection.

2. GE has done more for SA talent development than most orgs do for their home scene.
   • GE Academy
   • ASUS ROG Academy (in partnership)
   • Regularly scouting SA players
   • Actually promoting players into Tier 2 opportunities

This is more than what most orgs worldwide do for their local regions.

3. You do not handicap a franchise team with forced regional picks.
   Tier 1 slots are extremely limited. If a player is not performing at international level, forcing their inclusion only hurts the team and the region’s reputation. Merit should come first.

4. Having a GE flair does not mean I am against SA players.
   It means I support the team’s competitive decisions.
   I would love SA players in GE, but only when they are good enough to compete at the top level. That is how every region develops in esports.

My criticism was about how Riot handled the Talon situation, not about countries or regions.

Before anything, I want to apologize for using “FULL SHIT” and “RITO” in my earlier posts/comments. That was frustration about how the players were treated, not hate toward Thailand or Full Sense. After re-reading the FrosT interview, here is what the actual issue is, in simple pointers.

1. The players lost leverage they already had
   • FrosT said he had multiple large orgs ready to take the roster
   • Those orgs were offering higher salaries
   • Riot restricted the process to Thai orgs only
   • That instantly put Full Sense in a stronger position and the players in a weaker one
   • Result: players had to accept lower pay than what they were already offered

2. Riot’s logic contradicts their past actions
   • For 3 years, Talon (a Hong Kong org) represented Thailand with no problem
   • Riot originally said Thai orgs were not trustworthy enough for partnership
   • Suddenly, in the replacement window, they said it MUST be a Thai org
   • FrosT literally calls this out as contradictory

3. Crws’ situation was not just “he chose to retire”
   • The interview states what he went through was unfair and heartbreaking
   • Riot made things worse when he needed support
   • FrosT says Crws was unable to continue his career because of how it was handled
   • That goes beyond “he wanted to coach anyway”

4. This was never about hating Full Sense
   • The problem is how the process removed options the players already had
   • Any org given exclusive access to the slot would have had the same leverage
   • The players are the ones who took the hit

5. VLR’s reaction missed the actual point
   • People focused on defending an org instead of discussing the facts
   • The interview quotes were treated as bait instead of evidence
   • Downvotes does not make the source wrong (y'all don't even read stuff, just follow others like sheep, grow a spine and speak your opinion)

Rito put FULL SHIT and thai org representation over the priorities of the players, even tho all the other orgs would also take the same exact roster.

After a hongkong org represented the region for 3 years without any issue, why did it suddenly occur to riot that they needed a thai org.

Riot considered Crws important enough to feature him as a representative figure during the Pacific 5th Anniversary event. However, when he was in trouble, instead of helping, they made things worse.
