So as most people know, Aspas is literally builds the team at this point. (No world mibr picks these players cough cough tex, up other than being hand-picked.) Now, if players are picked because of aspas, that implies that Aspas could also pick a cracked GC player into even international.

I know it probably sounds far-fetched, but I feel like this is the highest chance of a GC player reaching LANs. And in no way am I underestimating tex. He probably farms t3 and t2 if compared to a GC player. But surely one GC other than flor has a chance of making t1 LANs at some point. And it takes a man who's willing to take risk and have enough sway in the team-making decision.

(OR it could be C9, idk nepotism. But they ain't making it to International Lan so that's off the table.)

Think about it this way: would a Brazilian player buy more gun bundles if Riot added another Brazilian team? Probably not. Would NA players buy more gun bundles if Riot added another NA team? Probably not either. Most player already have their team that they support and root for.

But here's the thing. USD is way more valuable than the Brazilian Real. If both situations are equal, why wouldn't you go for the player base that would spend more money and have a way better currency value? (VAL players in NA are much more willing to spend money on skin, at least from all my friends and games I have played, compared to what I had heard from SA players.)

Meanwhile, having another Korean team would make zero difference. The whole point about NA is so dumb. Why does NA have more teams? Because a player buying skin in NA is way more valuable than a player buying skin in Korea. It makes sense for NA teams to make up most of America, they are going to buy the gun bundle for their own team. SA, as you said, has Loud, Mibr, Furia, and Kru that represent their own country of region, which is exactly what Talon does for Thai.

Regional representation, more specifically, country representation, is important. Giving a team presentation to a country is more important than adding a 6th feeder Korean team. I'm not saying the next SEA team that gets added is going to be stronger than the Korean team. (It's probably just another bottom-feeder team) But it allows player to buy a skin for their region.

It's a no-brainer for Riot to add another SEA team, regardless of competition sake. Why the hell would adding another Korean org help Pacific? Do you think a Korean player is going to buy a gun bundle for Geng, DRX, NS, T1, and SLT? Or is a Thai player going to buy a gun skin for Thai team?

If BBL Pacific wins, it would be the fourth Turkish team in EMEA. With FUT, BBL, ULF, and TH with three Turkish players, in theory, we could have all three/four seeds of EMEA from the Turkish team. Crazy to think that a fourth of the region would be from one country.

Same with Koreans in the Pacific. DRX, GenG, SLT, and NS could very well be all three/four seeds for the upcoming master and champions next year. It would just be crazy to think about for as big a region as those two.
