remaining signed to the organization.
While these players and staff are no longer signed to Gen.G, it remains a possibility that they rejoin the organization for the 2026 season. Last year, following Munchkin, Lakia, and Meteor 's contract expiration, Munchkin was immediately re-signed, and continued with the team the next season. This time around, however, the IGL of two years will not be returning to Gen.G, as he has officially declared in a post. Munchkin has additionally announced his status as looking for a team, indicating that he still intends on competing in 2026. The status of all other players and staff are at this time unknown.
Gen.G in 2025 was a team with some of the highest peaks of the year, but was unable to find that form in the most important moments. At Masters Toronto, they stormed through the Swiss stage, even stomping eventual winners
