Following a middling 2025 season, NAVI retained hiro, Ruxic, Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky, and ANGE1. hiro and Ruxic had made names for themselves as two of the top individual performers in their respective roles in EMEA, while ANGE1 chose to make the jump from in-game leader to head coach.

NAVI exited Kickoff in the top eight and elected to make changes, parting with Shao and Volkan "sociablEE" Yonal and bringing in chloric over from North America as their new IGL and ExiT as a Duelist. Due to visa issues, ExiT's entrance into the team was delayed, prompting the team to sign Berkcan "ComeBack" Şentürk in the interim during Stage 1. NAVI went 2-3 in the Stage 1 group stage and did not advance to playoffs.

For Stage 2, NAVI made another change, releasing Dawid "Filu" Czarnecki and bringing in CyvOph over from his stint with FNATIC to serve as a Flex. ExiT also finally joined the team in Berlin. NAVI went on to have another 2-3 group stage, eventually ending their year in the play-ins with a loss to Team Heretics.

On Oct. 19, NAVI revealed that they were not selected as a VCT partnered organization going into the 2027 season.
